Still more relevant to the name and many already consider them exactly that.
I'd rather others associate e-nic with cigarettes than the other stuff...
I had no idea dip, snus, the patch and gum involved a battery, thus making them electronic in nature...
Neither does a cigarette. It's chopped vegetable matter, rolled in paper and ignited with a lighter.
Just to make a point:
The doors on my box mods are held on with magnets (the flow of electrons at work). So would you call them electronic doors? (or even electrical)
Proper terminology is very important to the scientist or engineer. Most people only care that they will have a mental picture of what's being talked about.
