Are black 510s better than other colors?

I know, it sounds weird to me too, but I've seen a couple of different posts from people saying that they've tried all different colored 510s and that the black ones seem to be the most powerful...? Has anyone else had this experience? I'd be really curious to know! Thanks!

The black craze really stared with the 901. With it's shiny black exterior and blue light, it was easy to tell it was not a cigarette. When the 510 came out it was called the Yeti, probably because the all white model made you think of the abominable snowman (see picture below). While I still call it the Yeti, you won't find a lot of white ones showing up.

So many people want it to look exactly like a cigarette when they start, but then they want the exact opposite. As for the 510, I prefer to change just the atomizer or carts. Put a white atomizer on a black model and you get a Daffe 510. Put a round white cart on a black model and it looks just like a magic wand.

That is way too funny, *LOL*!

after using only matt black ones for a few months (and I think finally "used up" my batteries and atomizers) I just got a few new ones... the wine, silver and gold from heavens gift (I know... wrong names, but I can't remember what they were called)... all three are a pleasure to use after my failing old black ones.

will they last longer? no idea, my 3 black ones lasted over 5 months... I was expecting them to die after a couple of weeks. (heavy ex-smoker here)

now (just took a huge drag off my new wine one and filled the room with vapour) I'm loving every second of a fresh e-cigg...

cheers

Color is just that ... Color. A manufatcturer is not changing the product componants because the case is decoarated differently. A genuine Joye battery is a Joye battery. A generic is a generic. There may be differences in performance.

are you !00% certain of that..
the way I see it stainless and titanium are just different polishes of the regular metal where as the black or white are painted on..
which is why theres a how to video about how to take a white ecig and turn it into a silver/platinum one just by using a light sanding cloth and buffing off all the paint...
Now having said that,,if the atty is painted black and black color tends to retain heat.. to me it stands to reason that the black atties would heat up more/ retain that heat longer..
I'm not saying that it changes the performance of the inside of the atty or the battery in any way..just that in my experience my stainless one disipates the heat quicker so I can vape more before I have to put it down..

The stainless steel may just be polished, but all the others, including titanium and copper are painted.

I have black attys and white attys, but they are from different vendors...the white attys draw MUCH easier than the black to both myself and my DH.

Difference between manufacturers?

Perhaps. Perhaps the drill bits to put in the vent holes are slightly difference. I've noted a small difference in the hole diameters between colors and/or vendors. This it seems is the only physical reason for a difference in draw between two brand new attys. With use, the amount of wick under the bridge might be factor, which I found can get easily gunked up with thick tobacco juices. Had some black TW titan attys that I was ready to toss because although they worked they were SO hard to draw through. That leads then to overheating which can kill the heater. Soaked them for a couple hours in Crest Pro-Health mouthwash (PGA did nothing), and they are almost better than when they were new now! Its wonderful when something so simple and inexpensive makes it seem like you have suddenly added many months to your vaping supplies. :D
