Are names like "CE4", "EGO" proprietary brands or are they generic?

Intellectual property rights don't really work that well in China. We have situations where Chinese companies are now copying other Chinese companies products.

You know they make almost a perfect copy of the BMW X5 in China, it's called the CEO - and it looks almost identical to the BMW. Well BMW tried to stop them making it - and in a protracted and complicated series of judgements, amazingly lost the case.
I think people just stop trying to enforce their property rights because it becomes too expensive, and they will probably lose anyway.

I think the CE4 / CE5 are pretty generic names for the clearos, as are Egos (originally a Joytech brand I think) but now it's a thread type as well as a battery.
