I saw the posting about the fiber wicks having health concerns, so I wanted to look for a cartomizer that has a replaceable head that comes with Steel Mesh. So far, I've only found rba's with this option, but I'm not sure about investing in that kind of tech just yet.

So are there any CE4, Kanger T3 or Vivi Nova type cartomizers that come with this?

I saw that too, but if you don't get it pre-rolled, you have to oxidize it. That's beyond my knowledge already.

No, there is no such thing as an all stainless-steel cartomizer, as far as I know.

Though all that's involved in oxidizing mesh is taking a flame to it. Some people hold them over a stove... I use a Zippo. It's really that simple.

No shizzle, that sounds super easy! Have you tried the Vivi Nova SS mod?

Well, someone should get to work on the next "CE6" : internal, replaceable SS wick. Time to call China.

There are some inexpensive rebuildable attys around. I have a Phoenix clone (under $10) that I replaced the silica wick with a vertical SS wick. Not quite a cartomizer, since I have to drip into it, but it holds about 10 drops.

Some folk even use cotton or bamboo fiber for wicking. No oxidation needed. Use the 'search ECF' and you'll find lots of posts on these.

I should have my first new RBA arriving today, bought had already bout the wicks (cotton), SS and several types and gauges of wire in anticipation of needing it. I have a buch of the Vivi Nova's though and since they travle better, I too plan to set some up with SS wicks. I have seen the U-Tube videos and looks easy enough, but have not yet done it. My RBA will be house bound, for the most part, as I just don't do leaks well.

theres a guy on here who sorta made his own wire mesh cartomizer by taking stainless steel pipe screens, rolling them into mini donuts (like the size of a fruit loop) and then inserting those into an atomizer

i know its sound pretty weird but it actually looked fairly simple to accomplish and he swears its like a real dripping atomizer

i always meant to try it out but never did...if you are interested search "bonuts" there are about 300 replies

Cartomizers don't have wicks....
They do, actually. Go to 6:42 of this video for an example.

Vertical coil cartomizers probably don't have a wick since the coil sits directly in the polyfill, but any horizontal coil system will have wicks in order to keep the atty wet.

The atty part will have a little bit of wick, but the cartomizer itself just has filling.

I was under the impression that cartomizers are carts with atomizers built in which would mean the atty head in a cartomizer would have a wick/wicking system.
