Are there any flat tip carts that don't fit loose?

Yes, the 901 whistle tips fit nice and snug on a standard Joye 510 atty. They fit pretty well on the L2 atties too.

I got my 901 whistle tip cartridges (D-shaped reservoir) from Rob at Vaporkings.

This is what they look like:

901 cartridges work well for me - and yes, they do have a bigger opening than the 501 cartridges do. I use the BFD (Blue Foam Dart) for filler and haven't had a problem with leakage. They wouldn't hit the bridge because they have an even larger opening than the normal 501 cartridges do.

:)

The bridge is not the problem. the bridge is not the heater. It is the shape of the coil heating element, which is oval. But if your 901 carts are not getting the little melt-bites on the edges, then it is probably not a problem. If they are, then there is a problem, as in inhaled plastic materials.

Some 510s will fit snug some won't, it's a problem with the atty, all the carts are the same (I think) When I got a batch of attys like this I put them all in a clamp pinching right in the middle and squeezed just a little, not even enough that you see a noticeable difference or mess up the paint. this helped the carts fit more snugly, but only if I put them in a certain way. Might be worth trying.

The heating element in all of my atomizers is way under the bridge... so melting carts isn't an issue I have had to deal with. So no... they are NOT melting.

The 901 carts do fit, but I'm always concerned the atty-insert part is not the right shape for the 510 atty coil, and might get melted. Crescent shaped as opposed to the 510 cart oval shape.

I've melted the 510 cartridges a half dozen times so far, and I have yet to melt a 901 cartridge. Just one guys experience, but I think they work great. I don't bother using the 510 carts anymore.
