Are there ANY good telescopic style 50watt mods out there for sub ohm?

EDIT: I made a mistake in the title of this thread, I meant to say TUBE style, NOT telescopic, I don't care if it's telescopic or not as long as it holds big batteries.

I absolutely hate the look and feel of box mods, I've been looking all over google for telescopic style 50 watt mods and so far I've found the cloupor T5's and ZNA 50's. Based on the research I've done the T5's die all the time and the ZNA 50's are also a mixed bag. Are there any other good ones out there that I haven't been able to find? Much appreciated. I've had a VAMO for a little over a year, and while it still works great I'd like to upgrade to something I can use the Atlantis with.

How are those telescopic?

T

tele·scop·ic adjective \ˌte-lə-ˈskä-pik\
: made or seen with a telescope

: having the power to make objects that are far away appear to be closer

: able to become longer or shorter by having sections that slide inside one another

I believe the ZNA 50 technically qualifies as "telescopic" under this definition, pretty sure the T5 doesn't however. Anyways, being that I am avoiding box mods, I used the term more to describe the shape of the devices in question, not so much the literal meaning of the word, I should have been more specific.

The newest Vamo v7 is 40w?? Had mine almost a month, its rockin..

That's awesome, I have the old 15w version, but apparently you can only safely go to .08 ohms with it? That's what I'm reading anyways, and I'd like to try out this Atlantis that's out now (which seems to use strictly .5 ohm coils)

Wouldn't matter if it telescopes or not. Less than an 18650 and you will be hard pressed to get any decent useable time out of it.

Haha I think I screwed myself with the title of this thread, I don't think I can edit it though. I'm just looking for a 50w mod that isn't box shaped. The two I've been able to find don't have the greatest user reviews. Thank you for this information though.

The manual does state .08 but I've also read 1.0.. Haven't tried myself hehe. I just stick to 1.5 ohms and 11-13 watts right now. I've tried my setup at 30w once and it blew my throat out hah! Gonna grab an RDA tomorrow though so well see how it holds up.. I usually run mine with a couple of stacked purple Efest 18350s and they're 10.5 amps I think so I don't know how hard I can hit those safely either..

I picked up the Clouper ZNA 50 a couple weeks ago recommended by my B&M when I bought the Atlantis. Admittedly, I am new to this level of unit, but must say I am very happy with its performance. I am using Sammy 18650 3.7V 2500mah batteries, I have settled in vaping it at 35W, use it for about 8 hours a day, and a battery will get me through that time. While I am sure some more experienced vapers could point out some deficiencies, I fnd it extremely satisfying after coming from an Aerotank Mega on an MVP2. Here is one review of it: Cloupor ZNA 50 from Canvape

I am also interested in getting the new Kanger subtank to try on it, but am trying to confirm if my Sammy batteries are 30A and/or if the ZNA 50 can use 30A batteries. At least from what I've read, 30A is a minimum for the tank.

So I give a thumbs up to the ZNA 50 with the Atlantis on top for a great vape, both flavor and clouds. Just my :2c: :vapor:

There's a Vamo 50 on Fasttech. I had a Vamo v5 that was pretty good, although they had problems with the 510 threading being easily stripped.

Seriously? I was only able to find vamos that go up to 40w, the new v9 however will fire down to .3 ohms! Might pick one of those up.

Interesting, the ZNA did sound really cool I'll have to take another look at it. I've also located two other candidates as well:
-Vamo v9 (which now goes to 40w and fires down to .3 ohms)
-Smoke bec pro 50.

An update to my earlier post asking about needing a 30A battery for the Kanger subtank:

According to the description of the subtank at Skyline Vapor, "SUBTANK works on all mechanical mods with batteries rated 30 amps or higher, or any other mod with an output of 30 watts or higher." I will hopefully confirm this when I get to my B&M where I bought the Cloupor ZNA 50. Going to make the trip in about 10 days (100 mile trip) to spend the gift card I got for Christmas. I'll be coming home with the tank then! :vapor:

I'm really starting to lean towards that zna 50, what does the sub tank offer that the atlantis does not? A lot more juice capacity and ability to make your own coils?

I think that is pretty much it, although building coils is probably not in my future, damn essential tremors. For me, it is about not having to change flavors in the same tank frequently. The Atlantis is so darn good, that I hate putting it down when I want to go to another juice. And right or wrong, I have my ADJ, but don't want to stay with it all day long. I like having flexibility and choices, so would like another tank for switching juice without giving up the great vape. Therein lies the question, a second Atlantis or try the sub tank so I can compare myself if one is considerably better then the other.

My expectations are that either will be great, so can have my two favorite juices ready to go whenever I want them, both with a great vape. Then I would have my two Kanger Aerotank Mega's loaded with some "good juice" (occasionally rotated) on my MVP2 for out and about, working, or just when I want it. Then I have a couple T3D tanks that would just be for trying new flavors. For me personally, when I try a new juice, I want to give it a chance rather the hit it a few times or one tank full. Making myself hit it for a few hours each over a few days gives me a good idea what I will rate it on my juice chart. Yeah, I'm one of those! At my age, I can't trust my memory when it comes to which juice I have or have not tried. Dang, I once rented a movie from Netflix and then realized I had it in my own library of movies.

Oh, crap! Now I am just rambling, so will just let it go at that. Vaping is too good to make work out of it, so I try to keep with the K.I.S.S. principle! :vapor:
