A Legacy is probably the cheapest high end mod to your door. They are about 95 dollars to your door.

I have a Gus G16 and a Temon (well, it just entered the states yesterday) that are great mechanical mods for about $80-$90 but shipping is about $25 dollars from Greece. Any of the Gus's G16 or G22 are the same price. You can find deals on the in the classies. I paid 80 shipped for my G16 which is in perfect condition.

There are some nice things below that but I wouldn't call them high end. I saw EA mods for 175 on a US site, that's probably the best price for some GGish that's high end.

I don't mean to sound elitist, but I think 'High-end bargain MOD' is something of an oxymoron.

And, I think, to a certain degree, one does, indeed, get what they pay for, though we all are familiar with some over-priced, over-hyped devices. I don't mean that there aren't wonderful, efficient, lower-priced mods/APV's out there. Many work very well. Also, spending more $'s does not automatically guarantee a better vape.

The ever-so-often-repeated-phrase that whatever keeps you away from cigarettes is the best device for you, is certainly accurate. So, then I think that everyone has to truly evaluate what they want from their devices. What is 'value' to you?

Define your terms: What is 'high-end' to you?

To me, it's not only an excellent vape but an asthetically pleasing work of art that will last virtually forever, made from some of the most beautiful & consequently, expensive materials available.

And you can't get that at a 'bargain' price....

I don't know how cheap you are looking for, but the Chi You or the Electric Angel seem to be good quality mods for a fair price compared to some other mods.

I have a Electric Angel and I love it. Fantastic quailty. Watch the Co-ops and sales, check out reviews on You Tube~~:2c:

The EA Mod is certainly a high-quality mod. The Chi Chi is total crap in comparison.

I honestly can't see how people can recommend it as a high-quality mod with a straight face. It's a set of thin, flimsy tubes made with next to no quality control. Sure, it'll fire a battery until the button falls off, but a high-quality mod it's not. Honestly, I'd have a hard time coming up with a mod that's got worse build quality than a Chi Chi without dipping into recall lists.

Trick,

NOT the Chi Chi (China GG) http://www................../China-GG_p_149.html
There is a difference between the two!! One is definately more "high-end" than the other, LOL!!! I think the Chi you is gonna go for a little less than $200 and the China GG.....well $30. I will say this about the Chi Chi, (although no where near what I consider a High End Mod) this little china knock off does a great job powering my 1.0ohm AGA-T+. It hits hard, so much more than I expected for $30. Will it last.....prolly not, but at 30 bills, Im not to worried about it. Throw it in the truck, take it to work, drop it...what ever!! Its nice to not have to worry about scratching or dinging it. Its just another tool for the job.
Keep Vaping.........

Thanks everyone for all the feedback. I think I've made my decision for now. I've decided to get the Rapture mod from Vaporbeast (http://www.vaporbeast.com/product_p/sk50.htm). Its aesthetically pleasing and wont break my 'broke collage kid' bank. Hopefully it holds up until I can drop some serious money into some truly beautiful mods like the Electric Angel, Chi-you, or GG. And if (when) it does die on me, I've still got my Vamo for backup.

That Rapture Mod looks great!!! Let us know how you like it:)
Having a mechanical telescoping mod is a must have in any vapors arsenal...IMO:)
Enjoy your new purchase

Update! Just found out that DV is now able to sell the Drawtube once more! Its pretty much the EXACT same as the one VaporBeast is selling, but for about $30 less (that is, if the DV price doesn't change). Super excited to try out a mech mod. If I like it, I will definitely be upgrading to a high-end mod in the future.

GG, Chi-you, Gus, Caravela, one of you will be mine some day!

I'm torn between the Rapture at VaporBeast, and the Natural or Kamry KTS X6 (Kamry Telescopic Storm) from GotVapes.

Yeah, I'm goin' sorta cheap for my mechanical mods. Hafta factor in a AGA-T2 as well....

btw, I know I've posted this same thing in several threads. I hope that's not considered spamming. I'm just trying to gather as many opinions as possible.

I'm actually pretty impressed by this one (<- Click That)

Not a knockoff of anything I know, holds all 3 sizes of 18XXX batteries, and includes an RBA with an insulated wick hole, spring loaded positive center post, and frosted tank, all for $67. You might be able to get a Pyrex for this at IBTanked. Seems like a lot of mod for not a lot of money.

Personally, for an inexpensive that I don't worry too much about losing, this one is $35 at Hoosiervapes, plus $24 for the HH357 atomizer and $10 for the Cherry Vape ming tip. It's a telescope so you can put whatever you want in it. All 3 18XXX or the smaller two plus a kick or ShortStop fuse:

But if you want top performance, top machining, and maximum beauty, that'll cost. This is 3.2" of drop dead gorgeous that I keep tucked into my change pocket and DO worry about losing:

Just ordered this a day ago. Wanted a decent mechanical to hold me over until the ELAs start shipping
