I have been ordering tons of equipment via paypal since i started vaping in february.

now, over the past month or so i cannot use my credit card for orders using paypal which sucks because 95% of the suppliers i order from use it. its kind of irritating...it just says that my card cannot be used for this payment.

my credit card is definitely valid, so i have no idea what the hell is going on.

if anyone knows any decent suppliers that don't use paypal please let me know, im runnin low on goods.

We accept credit card payments, checks, and money orders.

As of last night we decided to no longer deal with PayPal at all. I was sorry to do it, as I know it is convenient for some of our customers, but sellers have NO rights with Paypal. They could decide to stop all activity on an account at any time, and hold the money for 180 days. Not a company I want to conduct business with.

Another option is to connect PP to your bank account. I don't keep a dime in PP, so when I order it automatically deducts from the checking account.

I can see where there might be concern about this as PP is annoying as all get out, but I have been doing this for years without any issues. If the cash isn't there, then they go to the credit card on file.

I'm having the same problem, only I just went out today to walmart and got a prepaid visa card. put 200bucks on the sucker and I cant even make a payment. only one ive tried so far is totallywicked and its a no go. This totally suxorz!

Did you register the card? You usually have to register a Visa gift card or most other prepaid cards via phone or the web with the issuing bank before you can use the card for phone or online purchases. Otherwise, there is no way to authorize the transaction against your address and zip code. This, of course, is not required for in-store purchases in most cases.

You cannot use this credit card for this transaction. Please use another funding source.

You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and confirmed, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.

Kreel, right again, those prepaid cards do not work unless you have a bank account linked to them: your identity has to be verifiable, an address, a SS#, etc to be useable with PayPal. I have a Wired Plastic cash card, to add money you can send a MoneyGram or transfer $$ from your checking account to an actual bank account in a Utah bank, or transfer $$ from PayPal balance. That account number satisfies PayPal's rules, because I opened it with my personal identification, SS#, DL#, etc. But I pay a $3.95/mo service fee to maintain that bank account. Some pre-paid cards simply aren't traceable, even if they call them Visa, etc.... Remember the Obama Campaign debacko, when all those 'donations' were coming in on pre-paid cards????? Not traceable after a month! ?Bogus? I guess so!!!
Check with your bank, they do have debit/credit cards that link to any account, your checking, a savings acct, or a special account, ask about them.

I think this is a good thing, and there is probably a reason it doesn't work.

Any underage kid could buy a prepaid credit card and buy things online they aren't supposed to. Some cards are blocked for this reason. Once Paypal verifies your age and address, you'll be good to go.

I would agree with you here.. but when I activated it online, i had to give my name, address, age, and social. ?!?!?!

I use the paypal merchant on my site, supposedly, you don't have to have a paypal account to use credit cards, when you click on something to buy on my site and it takes you to the paypal log on page, in the lower right hand corner in VERY small print you can click to pay with a credit card and it claims you don't need a paypal account, though i haven't tried it to verify. Anyone run into this before either buying or selling?

Buyers can use that if they don't have a paypal account, unfortunetely to get money from it, the seller has to have an account

For awhile, I did not have a credit card. During that time I used this prepaid one. www.netspend.com It is good for many reasons, one being that it connects with a checkless checking account number that will allow you to use it like a debit/credit card. It always worked for me.
