I'm a photographer, so my ability to "vape at work" depends entirely on where I'm shooting. If I'm retouching at home, then yeah, I vape on the job all the time!
I vape at work as long as I'm in my office. I work for a school district as a system engineer - servers and switches, etc. When I first started vaping years ago, I asked my boss at the time and was told it was fine in my office.

My supervisor told me he didn't mind if I Vaped at my desk, just as long as I didn't do it while the boss was at work. It'd be nice if he was as reasonable
I cannot vape at work ( in a locked hospital facility) but the truly sad part is the patients are not permitted to have or use ecigs in the hospital this means they are required to purchase tailor made at $13.00 a package and required to go outdoors in a secure location six times a day for fifteen minutes. I as staff must leave the grounds I of course I vape in bathrooms and other areas now and then I am not permitted to join the patients who smoke in the outdoor area as it is on the hospital grounds- they of course occasionally smoke tobacco inside - ( fire hazard) and must buy very expensive cigarettes - the wisdom of the health system and should the patients become outpatients we have not done a thing to assist them towards a financially cheaper alternative nicotine delivery system not to count the health factor. of course because I live in Canada I can supply the smokers with gum and more gum and patches that are ineffective provided by BP and ordered by the physician
