I'd like one but no budget for it. My car is 100+ MPH capable but I don't go that fast. Likewise, I probably wouldn't crank G12 up to 100 watts. Well, maybe one time just for grins.
100 watts ... think about it... the same as an incandecent 100w litebulb... what kind of wick would stand up to that? The juice would be burnt to a carbony crisp even before it came up to full temp...
Yea 100w just seems excessive. I like simplicity myself. I'm a newbie and have vv vw devices but find myself being drawn to mechanicals. I don't need a mod with a 3x3 in display, touch screen, 1000w, mp3, camera, etc. But I'm not one for hype either. Jmo, buy what you like. Just seems unnecessary to me.
I have a DNA 30 on the way and I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do with it. It reads resistance so I guess it will be a handy ohm checker?

No it wouldn't, kanthal is more resistant than you give it credit for. This is more for really low ohms (which I don't usually use), so you apply high amps, and relatively low volts on something crazy like a .23-.3 and 100 watts isn't astronomical. You coil will just heat up as fast as a lightbulb turns on
I think that's the idea of this puppy, and you should know 100 watts won't be applied to anything too high ohm, it probably has a limiter and is designed for those low ohm show-offs, and competitions (you know everything that isn't pleasure vaping lol). I mean on a 1 ohm coil, you use 10 volts and 10 amps, it's not THAT rediculous compared to some I've seen already. I don't know how many 50-60 watters I've seen bragging that they love it.
Not sure if I understand that much wattage (or amps) either. I hope anyone that gets one of these makes sure they understand ohm's law and have batteries that can take the abuse. Keep tabs on your batteries people!

Indeed sir, I think this is one of those "novelty" items that are more for showing off at conventions and competitions, and running 4 coils at your favorite wattage etc. not really because people are wanting to vape 100 watts all day.
I agree, my favorite mod to date is my Vamo V5
, it's dirt cheap, and outdoes my provari (was also 1/5 the price!)

LOL, it all depends what's hot and what's cold at any given time. It's not just hardware either. I remember when I first joined ECF the GG owners were being bashed pretty regularly and heaven help you if you got into vaping and had never smoked. Then the mechanical mod and sub-ohm craze came in, the GG guys were forgotten and everyone got on the anti sub-ohm bandwagon. Somewhere in that mix VW happened and man, did that ever get the VV people riled up
These days it's OK to vape if you never smoked as long as you use zero nic juice, sub-ohm vaping is much more accepted, you don't hear too much about VV vs VW any more and the clone wars are settling down lately too. Provari is still up there, but I doubt it will be for long. I read a post on Reddit the other day about how vaping one of the new high power regulated mods at 100 watts could possibly be safe and it was irresponsible to give vaping opponents this ammunition against vaping. I think this will be the next hot topic here.
