arg Ego-T problem after problem. what am I doing wrong?

I got the pass through with type b carts and atomizers.
I believe they are all genuine joytech based on engraving and box.

First problem the passthrough will not work when plugged into the USB of a computer. It needs to be plugged into a wall charger with a USB port.
I tried multiple usb pc ports and nothing. The ports work for other devices... whats the deal here??

Next and worse problem. I got 2 atomizers. When I put the cart on, in order to get it on all the way I have to leverage my body weight and push down against my desk as hard as I can to get it to snap into place.
...and then can NOT get them off. I don't think its a defective atty since they are both same problems.
I also have to pry with scissors to get fill cap and mouth cap off. I broke a nail which I'm not crying over or anything but geez

I finally got one of them off after using my teeth and scissors and 45 minutes mutilating the cap.
Can I "lube" them with vegetable oil before I put them in or something?

What am I doing wrong?

Is anyone else having this problem??
Am I just weak or what? Why is it all so hard?

It shouldn't be this hard. First off, don't use vegetable oil because that would not be safe to vape. You should be able to pry the fill cap off with a fingernail. If you can't use a little flat head screwdriver or something to pry it off. I don't know what the deal is with the charger, you may want to contact the supplier you got it from and see if they can send out a replacement. As far as putting the cartos on the atty, try to twisting while pushing them down to get them onto the atty. I hope this helps!

I say scrap those attys and carts and get some cartos to use on your ego batt. I think you will have a much better experience, I think the ego T delivery system is junk, I had one. But if you get some Boge LR cartos you will have a better vape on your ego batts and also try some clearos, they are not perfect but they are handy. I used Kanger clearos and so far they worked great will last a couple weeks with the right juice. Or you can use carto & glass tanks, that is what I use all the time now. Have fun shopping for better delivery systems The batts you have are fine and it is much safer to charge them with a wall charger so it doesn't fry your puter. bnrk

The only reason I have my mother on the ego-c system is because the juice she likes doesn't work well in cartos. It's a super dark and thick juice. Plus, using the tank system allows her to see when it needs to be filled and is super easy to fill.

Yeh I don't know why I am having so much trouble... twisting doesn't help. They do not budge; I cannot turn them at all with all my force... they fit in TIGHT.


If your mom can pull off the carts you'd think I could, but no...
I will have one of my guy friends try it and see if they can do it so I know if it is defective or I just have weak hands.


In any case, I will switch to another cart/atty. The tank cartomizers look very weird science to me but I am already breathing poison laced vapor out of a metal tube plugged into the wall so oh well.

I too just had trouble getting a new cap off. Been using them for over a year, so I know what to expect. However, this was my first time with a "C" atomizer.

However, after getting the cap off (more like 1 minute, not 30 minutes !) and putting it back on, everything is normal. It comes off easy.

So, it's a mystery to me what happened ! Maybe the atomizer got caught in a piece of plastic after I punctured the hole in the plastic ? I don't know.

mozaki, i've got the exact same kit you have. first time i plugged mine into my computer, it did the exact same thing, and its been a few months. i think the instructions will tell you what you need to do. on mine, the pass thru function was turned off, i had to turn it back on.

as far as the carts being so hard, you do have the rubber end cap removed from the bottom of the tank and the cap on the tank on correctly, right?

also, the tank caps are WELL known for leaking, vaporkings and other places sell silicone soft tank caps that help stop the leaks

I would recommend just buying batts and then buying the delivery system that suit your needs. Ego T's I would not recommend, people have had trouble with them alot. When I got one I laughed at the delivery system, I thought it was a joke! LOL Anyway if you can get them to work fabulous! If not try a different delivery system. JMO
