Awwww.... I'm really starting to get discouraged and ...... off with these e-cigs.

First off, I live in Canada, so I don't have the same selection of e-cigs that you guys in the states have.

I've been using e-cigs for about 3 weeks now, and am not happy with my experiences so far.

First off i bought a 901 from China, and at the same time ordered a 510 from an Alberta vendor. When the 510 works, it works well. But I've gone through 2 atomizers and a battery in 2 weeks. I just got another atomizer, and it barely makes any vaper on my 3rd cart. That's pretty pathetic imo. I don't think I should have to clean it after less then 1 full day of use.

The 901 is hard to find parts for from people in Canada, so I don't really want to buy more parts for it. I'd rather support Canadian vendors then someone who is supposedly Canadian but really ships from China. Plus they are on the expensive side of things.

Just last Friday I received my ego-t from a different canadian vendor. It works great for about the first 3 tanks or so. By about day 3 or 4 I can barely get any vapor out of it with an incredibly hard draw. I've tried cleaning both atomizers that came with the kit, and while one seems to be normalish, but the first one that gummed up on me, seems to be pretty plugged still.

Is there even a relatively low maintenance, but more importantly, reliable e-cig out there? I like the amount of vapor from my 510, and ease of draw. But when the longest an atomizer has lastest is less then 1 week, I'm pretty discouraged, plus it's way to easy to get the burnt taste, even after trying a couple different cart mods. And we all know that the regular batteries that come with it don't have very good life.

I'm not into dripping as i have a 19 month old at home, and I know he'd find my juice and do who knows what to it if I was dripping. Plus I don't have the time to drip at work. I like to just change carts/batteries and then go.

Taste isn't as important to me, as long as it's not burnt. I'd rather have throat hit and vapor. What are some of your opinions?

I'm using mostly juicyclear juices, as I really like their tims flavors. i have yet to find a different flavor that i like with nicotine in it.

It seems the more research I do, the more confused I get, or I can't get the model that I want because of border restrictions.

Sorry about the long post, but I'm just frusterated and don't want to back to anologs, even though I broke down and had 3 of them today.

Boy that really stinks that you're having so many problems. How about cartos? You can get cartos for the 510/egoT and the 901 I believe. Then you won't have to mess with attys. If you do a forum search, you can find help with the ego-T, but cartos seem the easiest to me.

Are your batteries for the 510 still under warranty? They should be after 2 weeks.

A small box mod might be in your future. Fill er up in the morning and pretty much forget about it. The joys of dripping without the trouble. An inexpensive and highly rated one is Old Goat's 3.7 volt box mod.

Don't give up. It's really hard getting to the "sweet spot." I've grown disgusted with the tank as well, plus flavor is so muted as to be not worth it. Cartomizers don't wick right. Stuffing is OUT. CE-2's are a pain when they don't wick right. The only option for me was dripping and despite how good it is, it really is a lot of work. I'm thinking a small box mod will fix that. It's only $40 bucks.

Hang in there!

Take a look at this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/163146-ego-t-vs-go-go.html - I have not used it yet (it's on order) but if you read the posts, of the folks who are using it, they seem to think it's easy, long lasting, and good flavor/TH/vapor. Sounds like it would work for you if you can get it shipped to you.

+1 on the Gogo...it's so easy, it's almost boring...lol. Seriously tho...sorry your having problems....doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong, maybe just some bad luck...Im not familiar with the juice you use, but maybe try a few samples from other places just to rule out the juice as a culprit with your atty problems...
Good luck.

I recommend the Bloog maxxfusion. Second two piece unit I've owned, simple, produces a lot of vapor, good tasting carts. The menthol is very very minty, the grape is very grapey, they are all good for the most part, and it's relatively cheap compared to some of the other models. check it out bloog.com

I've tried 3 different brands of juice, and juicyclear by far produces the best flavors for me and the most vapor when used in my 510. I haven't tried the others in my ego-t yet, but I have both atomizers drying out at the moment, so I'm probably not supposed to use them at the moment.

Do the cones that you can get for the ego battery and 510 atty really effect performance that much? The couple of vids I wathced on youtube indicated that they both made the draw harder. I think it looks weird using the ego battery with the 510 components. But the battery life is a lot better lol.

I've thought of going cartomizer, but I really don't mind adding juice to the carts. It's just that they don't last too long during a slow day at work, and I've had bad luck with the stupid atty's. I haven't ruled out trying them, just haven't ordered any yet.

I"ll check out the go-go in the morning.

The bottom feeders look good. I haven't tried one but, I just got the parts to try to build one. The biggest downside I see especially for someone new is that they are hard to get a lot of the time. It says nothing about the quality because that appears to be very good but, the market is so small right now that most of them are being made by a single person in their garage.

People flat out love the go-go but, again I'm not sure it's right for someone new. If you're new to vaping, you have to find your right nic level and juice flavor and there's just no way to sample small quantities with that thing. A decent Riva kit with some cartomizers and a drip tip is relatively cheap and heavy duty enough to start.

This was posted by redeyedancer, the builder of REOs Mods, on 3/23/2011:

I will be picking up grands tomorrow so it will be a 7 to 10 days before I have some ready .lets say 4/1/11 maybe sooner or later by a couple days.I will only be picking up 100 mods but the other will be done shortly.

Woodvils I will be loading them on the site on a regular basis. If you have a special request 801 or wood you don't see on the site pm or email me. I will have more info on mini mods tomorrow. I have had some setbacks with the machine shop this is why I never give firm dates until I have them in my hands.I no many of you are biting at the bit to get one of these all I can tell you is I am doing the best I can

For someone that really wants a bottom feeder mod, it's worth checking out his site daily and using the "notify me" button. They're not as easy to order as 510/KR808/Riva/eGo starter kits, but they're a heck of a lot easier to get than they were a few short months ago, and so very much worth the price, IMO.

Reo mods subforum has a ton more info in the sticky threads.

i agree mick, someone new might want a smaller startup, and be better off with one, but the OP already has some gear, shes looking for something better.
the gogo might be a good option... i mean, you charge it, you fill it, and boom, you're good for the whole day, or more. true, you want to find a flavor that you enjoy before you dump 100 drops into a gogo carto, but she sounds like she has a few fav flavors already..its for sure worth taking a look at it for 60 bucks.

ps...I said "she", but i guess that wasn't clarified...sorry if i mis-gendered...

but i guess bottom line is, like mick and others have said already...cartomizers from any setup seem to be less hassle than the atty/cart deal..
good luck, again...

As you have an eGo-T battery (probably 650 mAh), then use blank cartomizers Boge with soft cap, low resistance , 2.0 ohms.
Boge blank cartomizers for 510 kits, and any thing else with a 510 threading like the eGo.
These are not the tiny one with a soft mouthpiece. They are full sized and hold roughly a 1ml of liquid.
5 cartomizers per pack.
These are the low resistance cartomizers, roughly 2ohm.
It is suggested you use these on at least a 450mah battery, and pay attention to keep them constantly wet.
It is recommend for using these on the joye ego or riva 510 vaporizer's.
These are the SOFT cap cartomizers made by BOGE that you can just pop the cap easily out to refill or topoff.
Fill them up the night before, charge the eGo the night before, and in the A.M. your ready to go.

There are small samples size juices (3 ml) and 5 pack samples for sale that are inexpensive. Explore and find one or two that you like.
