...I've finally found an efficient cleaning method though, which pleases me. High pressure steam worked like a charm and restored the atty to almost new. I'm thrilled about that. :)

How do you steam your atomizers? I'm always looking for a better way to get them nice and clean. Right now I'm using an alcohol soak (91% and run alcohol through them until it streams instead of dripps out of the bottom) and then I push really hot distilled water through them with a bulb syringe to make sure they good and rinsed out. Finally, blow them out and let them dry. If steam would kill two birds with one stone I'd be all over it.

I've been struggling trying to quit analogs completely for about 2 weeks. I have an idea why it's been so difficult. The ecig I have is not the best and the nic level is too low. I have made progress. I no longer smoke in my house or car and I have cut down from 30-40 smokes a day to 5-10. I've ordered a Vapor King XL and some 36mg unflavored ejuice, still waiting. I am hoping this will be just what I need to switch completely.

Good chance it will work. I started off by cutting down to 4-6 a day from about 30 a day for my first week. Then for about another 6 weeks I smoked 1-3 a day. Then I finally changed my juice from 12mg to 18mg and got some better flavors now I am 1 month smoke free today.

For the most intense TH I actually find the M401 atomizer (at 3.7v on a mod with 18650 battery) very good. With something like Totally Wicked 36mg M/boro it's harsh as hell. I find its most effective by directly apply a few drops to the bridge and vape with an empty mouthpiece. I am going to try the Joye LR 306 atty as well, which is a similar design (small atty with exposed bridge, but lower resistance so it will run hotter). The M401 atty doesn't seem to get a lot of coverage but I recently "rediscovered" it and with a good power source it works really well IMO. To clean just give it a dry burn until it glows bright red.

A good reliable mod with a big battery, with the options to use high voltage and different atomizers is probably going to be a good investment.

Steaming???? Got me interested!

I can vouch for this too.

I have a hand steamer called a "Steam Shark". You throw a half a cup of water in it, plug it in and wait 5 min.

I hold the attys with some soft pliers and pull the trigger and steam away. The steam shoots out a small hole so you can hold it right up to the atty and steam right through it. I steam the whole thing all over, then finish through the "batt" hole.
Then I use compressed air to blow them out.

It works freaking great, they taste and hit BETTER THAN NEW.
The wicks go right back to pure white.

Actually it works so good, I steam all my new ones before I put them in rotation !!

I can clean an atty in 20-30 seconds each.
