I am afraid so. I think I will disassemble it, try to use a copper small gauge wire to bypass the power button and made 5 times contact in a row to activate the device. Hopefully, it will turn on.Then, I can use it in automatic mode.
But God bless me, where can I find a suitable screwdriver to open all that silly screws ?

yes the rom is a swdf file.
I would love if they would open up the argus to get customised settings and not to be stick with their coil recommendations. Just like escribe. And yes a mac version would be nice as well.

i am bit disappointed i have to say as i cannot choose the wattage for the coils and always have to stick to the recommendations. I would love to rank up a few watt more on the 0.8 coils.
There are 2 new coils coming out. Actually the ones on the 0.8 fixed pod. I think they are better.
I do get a better flavor from the fixed pod as of the "normal" pnp coils. To be continued i would say..
Maybe they will open the software so user can set the recommendations just like in escribe....
