Has anyone tried one of these yet? I had high hopes for the ARO after I discovered how much I like my evod and Kanger Mt3S and have some juices that I KNOW would need a pyrex tank since there is citrus in them etc. When I did get an ARO is was too airy and although I still use it from time to time it's not my favorite. Has anyone had better luck with the ARO II? Does the ARO II also take the universal coils that can be used in the EVOD/Mt3s models? I really hated the coils that came with the ARO and once I started using the same coils I use on my Mt3s in the ARO that made it tolerable :)

I had noticed that Kanger had finally came out with a Evod 2 with a removable drip tip..I was so excited UNTIL I seen its still polycarbonant! Come on Kanger! Go I am stll usiing my aro's I guess.

Have you tried the Protank mini 2? It's pyrex and has a removable drip tip. I have 2 of those, have dropped them several times and didn't break them. I don't recommend throwing them around, though lol.

Crap, I'm sorry... I didn't even notice that part. I got mine at my local B&M before I knew DV had them, but probably would've paid the same with shipping. If you have one nearby, you could check.

The kanger site said they are Pyrex. Are you sure it's still plastic?

afaik the evod and mt3s use different coils, that being said, evod coils wont work in the pyrex aro 2, i dont have an mt3s to know if those coils will work in the aro 2

Actually, they will. I rebuild all my coils. They're all kanger heads from evods & protanks & they work fine for me in my Aro 2's.

Just got 2 of the Pyrex Aro II today. I liked the larger Pyrex Aro BCC, but found it did not deliver as much flavor as my EVODS. I was hoping the smaller tank would make a difference, but alas, the answer is no. I've got one filled with my favorite Ahlusion Maple Dream 50/50, and while it produces lots of vapor (along with lots of snap, crackle and pop from the 1.8Ω coil), the full flavor is just not there, compared to an EVOD. Not bad, but not good enough- disappointing. I'll try one with a Kanger head at some point, and see if it's any better.
