Yes, you should get an order confirmation email and a shipping confirmation email. Did you check your junk/spam folder? You have to look carefully if you have a lot of emails as I did, because in my email the only thing that showed up under the sender was: info, but under the email description it said: Order Confirmation/Shipping Notice, it looks like this in my inbox:
