The original AR RDTA was the first rta that got me seriously thinking about leaving dripping and squonking behind. Since then I moved on to Rose V3's and a Taifun GT3 that became my faves. I have a couple more single coil rta's that I like vaping but these two were tops for me with the Rose being #1.

So I had a few Aromamizers that had been gathering dust for a while and thought about putting them away for safe keeping. Took one apart to give it a good clean and prep it for storage and had a thought. This is what happened next:

Not the neatest coil, but this is after a few dry burns, rewicks and being pushed around a bit to see what would happen. It still vapes great though :). SS316, 3mm ID, 5/6 wraps, 0.58 ohms:

Placed it high enough to get it pretty much right to the top of the chimney.

Wicked with Rayon and cleaned up the spacing a bit:

I've tried KGD, but I find it needs Rayon to move juice fast enough to the high coil. My juice is 99% PG. The juice holes I'm using are the small ones. So far I've only used this at home as I haven't tried to make it leak proof yet and with my past experience with the Aromamizer my bet is that might be hard. The Rose excels for that anyway so it's been my take-out atty for a while now.

I've been vaping this for a couple of months now and have got to know this build well. I really like the flavor and TH at between 16-21 watts depending on my nic level which is between 0 - 2 mg/ml. I consider it right up there with he Rose and GT3.

And that's all I've got .. do what you will with it :thumb:
