Art Glass Drip Tips

At DD's middle school they have in their Advisory Room, a certificate where they put these "Seals" they get each semester for academics, citizenship, etc .... and we were shown those as part of this presentation my daughter had to do (new way of doing conferences ... kind of dumb if ya ask me).
Anyway, I asked DD "where are your Honor Roll seals?" ..... DD says "Mrs So-andSO said my grades weren't good enough ...." So I ask Mrs So-and-So "Why does Lane, who's GPA is 3.7 not have an Honor Roll sticker?", she said "I think she needed a 3.8" ......
Ok .... NO middle school on the face of the earth would have a 3.8 GPA cut-off, this ain't Harvard, and were not after summa cum laude .... anyway the Honors cut-off is 3.2 her school, but advisor lady had no clue. (I was calm, and no slapping occurred)
Anyway, just got a e-mail saying DD will get her award, and the one for last semester also, on Monday.
We had a private discussion on telling my kid her grades "aren't good enough" .... View attachment 88406

A 3.8 is setting the curve a little too high for honors lol. How embarrassing for the advisor not to know the cutoff. One would think..... congrats to Lane on a 3.7 -- that is super!

Sun and Ski - Thanks, she's in IP, Honors and AG classes also .... we debated all of that, I mean she's in 6th Grade .... when I went to school we didn't get involved in that stuff till HS. But to stay competitive, and like Ski said, try to get into college now days, I guess ya do what you can.
Hubby and I are VERY proud of her.

Just wanted to through it out there for anyone interested. I got vape mail today from Ahlusion. I am vaping their Blue Fairy right now, and loving it!! I also love how their large 30ml bottles come. They are glass with a nice dropper. The packaging is nice and safe with shrink wrapped bubble wrap around each one. This was my first time ordering and the process to delivery was very fast.

I need to change out the Spa filter but I'm afraid of stepping away from the computer. Guess it can wait till after sale. DH used some spa skin softener you put in water, I found back in the cupboard. Now I remember why we stopped using it. It does great with chlorine sanitizer but when I switched over to bromine it clouded the water. It's still well balanced and sanitized but doesn't look so pretty. I'm gonna need a good soak after sale and hard jets for tense neck. Come on over folks.... clothing optional.

Thanks MWA - we are very involved (more than she'd like I am sure) with her schoolwork and grades. That's why this "presentation style" conference was silly. She's "presenting" all this stuff like we've never seen it ..... I know what she does for homework every night, and see all her tests, etc when they come home.
I guess maybe some parents aren't so involved ...
