These are SO pretty that I find myself wanting one something awful. Sadly, I tend to drop everything, (I dropped a cranberry colored [very rare] Visions cookware lid today and shattered it into a million pieces), so I fear I would drop and destroy a Trippy Tip, too *cry*.

Tiger, I don't use my Trippys unless I'm sitting down! I rarely even walk from one room to another with it for fear of dropping it, lol. If I'm leaving the house, I pop on my stainless Ming, it's invincible!

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Just a bit of catching up here...

Ad, Bill, dog lovers... have you seen this? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/14/underwater-dog-photos-seth-casteel_n_1277404.html

Cyclin, I was talking to a friend today and realized that what I need would be something like you described... something with a slant and perhaps pillowed/cushioned on which to rest the devices. Love your ideas!

Bill, love that new brown T tip! That's hot! Take it with you on your date (and YES, go for it!!), keeping it in your front jeans pocket. When the time is "just right", tell her you have a little something you want to show her... then reach in. (Do NOT take out the blue pills by mistake.) ;)

Congrats on the promo, Ad!

Happy B-day Jdub!

Freddy, can't wait to see the new pieces. I'd love a donut twist!!

Hz, best wishes for your situation. I'm sure it will work out to everyone's best interest. Welp, I'm not sure, but I hope.

Kami, my mouth dropped open at Bill's flagpole comment. You did a vodka spit take and hmmm, I got a sip. Good stuff.

Odi, my dear and darling 'only one'... how are you! Which Bella are you looking to trade? I'd be up for it. (down for it?)

Hope everyone slept well.

Thanks for the pm DD-I will have her ask herself those very questions and send off some of the other advice from last night and then I will drop it for a while and hopefully she can make a much better informed, thought out decision for the next time!
I have another early workday today-have a wonderful day today.

We love ya Jdub, you're a shining ☆ in our sky!

Hz, I am sorry your daughter has been put in this position it's called "GUILT BY ASSOCIATION" unfortunately parents weild a lot of power over their children including guilt.
By placing her in this no win situation he has masterfully cornered her just by ASKING.
You could turn this into a huge learning curve for her by simply explaining that saying NO does not mean she does not love her father just that she is unable to commit funds to HIS PROBLEM at this time.
Should he have put your daughter in this situation? IMO No. He knew the position he was putting her in and played on the GUILT TRIP to get money.
You can love a parent to death but you don't have to respect their decisions or be asked to do something using guilt as the weapon.
I hope for her own growth and wellbeing she says NO.
Because it probably won't be the last time he ask's.
