Well, I am baaaaaaaaaaaackand the back is also.........well, almost all. I have a few wordy things to say....I have been quiet except for begging during the last few days of drug induced intermissions.
I planned to send this to Bert and Freddy but wanted everyone to see it

Thank you for the beautiful art work in glass. I come from a long line of glass blowers.My great Grandfather was brought from an Amish order to blow glass at the old Whittal Tatum plant which was in Millville NJ.I have many pieces of handblown glass.I have vases, paperweights, and assorted "colored" glass which even has toxic stuff in it.We have a museum of glass here in the next town of Millville called Wheaton village and I have watched the tedium involved in flamework and glass blowing.
I now have a beautiful collection of your work that I hold quite dear.Not one of my collection was gotten by me! YOUR Trippyville residents have shown kindness, grace and such selflessness in helping me during my techno ...... days and my sick days.I was invited here by you, Bert, and was skeptical that a kook like me would have a home. This thread feels like ECF in it's early years. All for one, one for all, fun banter, sharing, caring and no pissing matches of who has more and mine is better etc. One member (sorry, the memory eludes me) posted........I would never show all my collection.,I believe it was said in the vein of not being presumptuous or bragging. It is easy for some to buy and buy and for others a few beautiful tips are all they can afford.I admire the person who wrote that as much as all the frequent posters here. It is a comfort to know such kind people still exist in the world and I am proud to be here. I post a bit silly, but laughter is my medicine and what I use for therapy, I am my own best audience and I thank you all for allowing me to reside at Trippyville, a fine ole hometown, where everyone knows your name and your shapes and sizes!
The only problem? They eat way too many donuts and they are not color blind!

We've been doing some major brainstorming. Custom tips will be available soon, we've almost completed our plan on doing them in a series format at first. We have also been creating a new color line to make tips with too! We have a new super bright pink coming up and our new glow will blow your minds I'm really excited about both of those events and look forward to better meeting all your trippy needs.

I take them everywhere. They're the only tips I use now. I figure, at this price, I'd better be getting my money's worth. Just be careful removing them from cartos when standing on a hard floor. Broke one from it flying out of my hand. But I've dropped some shorter distances and they made out fine.

Brutus - doing well thanks, I have to grab a shower soon and do some cleaning. Then is am gonna try mixing some juice .... Kami sent me some cherry, and I am playing with it in my cheesecake.

Blu, how much trouble is it doing your own juice? Me and a friend have considered it, but never really checked into it to see how much is involved.

its not too much trouble brutus, I kind of like doing it. It would be really easy for someone who knew exactly what flavorings they liked and didn't change it up much. I think mixing tobacco blends might be a little difficult to pin down though.

Brutus - it isn't hard as long as you can do basic math, or get a program like eJuice Me Up, but I can never seem to get the flavors I am trying for right.
I haven't tried following someone's recipe, I just think "Oh, that sounds good" and try to make it. I am not so good at it as of yet.

When mixing most juices try using some eythol maltol, this is your friend and I usually dont mix without it, I use between 1%-5% depending on just what I'm mixing and there is a little trial and effort to get it just right so do a small batch say 3ml's. All in all juice is very easy to make in my opinion, there isnt much to mixing 3-5 liquids and giving them a shake and bake.

I mix my VG, EM, Flavorings, and a little sweetner, sometimes another additive like a sour mix or lemon juice or even apple cider vinager, again all depends on what recipe I'm making, then I put all of that into my GLASS bottle, then set that into a hot'ish, bowl of water this helps it all come together better, taking it out and giving it a shake every minute or so and back in the Hot'ish water,,,,, then after I let all that come together, I put into the fridge for just a bit till it comes back to room temp, then I add my Nic base. Shake again every once in a while and let it steep for 2days. Also give it a taste just to see what its like, you can always adjust in the process a little bit if need be.

Another thing is you can make your Nic base using just your reg Nic, or you can use a Nic base with a Tobacco added or anything else added, but this always goes in last. Also the final flavor and juice doesnt all mend together for a couple of days until all the molecules MEND together. Lots of times it takes 4-5 days until some mixes really come together and shine, dont always think you need more flavoring added, let it steep a while sometimes if it doesnt taste like it is peaking, time is on your side letting it steep. I noticed this a lot with fruit flavorings like tangerine for example

Edit; on the EM,,,, I take a table spoon full and add it to a 30ml glass bottle, then I fill that bottle with VG ( YOU CAN USE VG, PG or a combo there of ) and put it in the Micro wave for 15secongs ONLY, 15sec ONLY MAX,,,, then let it sit for a minute or so till the bottle can be handled, then shake aggressively,, the EM Crystals will be totally gone,, and now you have you EM Solution to use in your mixes

You can do the same with menthol crystal if your a menthol user.

You will get good at mixing the more you experiment, its no different then cooking and mixing drinks in my opinion but takes some tenacity at times getting what you want

Thats why I started to DIY. I was sick of spending all my money on juices that didn't live up to the hype and having to throw them out. Especially when they are a buck a ml some places!

So, I was showing my friend my first Trippy Tip, got it from Eliquid...dropped it!! Yep, it broke! Not too happy at the moment, but learned my lesson when my 3 arrive from the sales.

I've only ever broken one and it was inside my house.
All my Trippy Tips go everywhere I do, I don't use any other tips. I've even dropped em at work and in the car and never broken them there.
I sometimes use a pv holder that I made to hang around my neck, so that's probably saved a few.

That happened the moment you 1st saw a Trippy Tip and decided you wanted one LOL

I started to budget my Trippy money out so I don't go broke. I now decide what I can spend for the month and load it on a paypack card and straight into paypal it goes. You can also transfer direct from a bank account but that takes days. This way I can more easily track what I'm spending and keep myself from overspending when I can watch that paypal balance drop every time I log in LOL
