Oohh... How about a saxophone contest? It'll be between Blu and me...

Ha! I'd try for it, I played clarinet... um..it was like 16 years ago, but I was good at it back then LOL. Learned to play the flute a bit back then, and a little piano too... I'm sure I could try playing the saxophone for a trippy tip!

Which site is that, Ad.. Am?

 Perv :p

I love these, where are they from?
If the price is right I will likely get on the list but it shouldn't be too expensive considering that the box is a basic prefab from cleverwood creations

It's one of the red ones with the heart on it like this middle one here:

Don't feel too bad... I probably couldn't do it now anyway... tongue piercing would have to come out, and my arthritis has gotten worse since then. I had enough problems getting my pinkies moving then, I know it wouldn't happen now LOL

HA! That sounds familiar :)
I'm all for the broken marching band... we'll be randomly missing notes when our hands don't cooperate, dropping instruments, and I'll randomly stumble when my knee decides it doesn't want to be a knee... Maybe we'll have them all giggling enough that we can just steal the prize trippy :D

Ferris,
I am sorry to hear that your tip broke! The tips are made to withstand a lot of abuse. Each one goes through a process to make them very durable by removing all the "stress" before I send them out. With every drop especially on something like tile or concrete a little bit of stress is added to the tip. Eventually if the stress gets to be too much and you drop it the tip breaks. With that said, I drop my personal tip all the time and I haven't broken one yet.

What would you all think about a service where you can send in a tip that has survived multiple drops to have all the stress taken out of it and get it sent back to you as good as new?
?????? !

just wanted to revisit this idea Bert had a while back and also include that I have noticed the reports on broken trippy tips lately. I would like to be informed by you guys when they do break or chip. Often time I/we can do something to either modify or re polish broken trippy tips.

there are exceptions were nothing can be done, but! I do take pride in doing glasswork repairs....ever since my stained glass days (a while back :D)

So, pass the word and hit me up when an injured trippy passes your path. I'll do my best assessment and we can go from there :D

Freddy
