It is really sad about Cyclin's donut, but while I was reading through the responses I have to say that I was touched by how positive the reponses were. I saw a pattern of people sympathizing over the broken TrippyTip and reassuring Cyclin that he should not worry, because you all know we will take care of him. Thank you all for having faith in us, and I promise we will continue to validate your trust when situations like this arise!
~Bert

Bert -- heck yes we have faith in you! Anyone who has seen a trippy tip knows you are a master at what you do. You've got the touch. I would think that if you can't fix it, it ain't gettin' done! I guess sometimes we must seem like little schoolchildren on the playground with our scrapes and bruises and many vendors would run from that instead of going out of their way to fix them. You are different from other vendors (and I suspect Moorea is too) in that this is your ART, this is what you LOVE, and you love seeing people happy with your product and you are going to do your darnedest to keep it that way. THANK YOU BERT, for being that kind of person!

LOL, I'm thankful there were no cameras around. Funny thing is it was the last bubble wrap I opened so I knew it was whatever the surprise was going to be. I had to stop for a second because my hands were actually trembling because I thought it might actually be my "Precious". Then I opened it and danced through the house with it. A 50 year old man should not act like that, oh screw it, I loved acting like that. :)

I'm glad you acted like that. We ALL need to act like that at times! I am so happy for you Brutus. Seriously, I am sitting here smiling at your joy! Dang -- I even have little tears in my eyes.

WoooHooo I'm finally caught up. Think I've been lurking and liking for days now. That Mai Tai donut is stunning, gorgeous, beautiful and would be a lovely first donut.
Amber-nice work!
Brutus-I'm so happy you got your precious! That really brought a smile to my face.
Cyclin-sorry to hear about your donut catastrophe. Sounds like Bert and Freddy are going to fix you right back up.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

Not that I can afford anything more right now! I was so anxious about all the mula I spent last weekend, I was craving a cigarette!

Is it the steals and deals forum where I can trade?

This! is the latest art glass I've created for Trippy Tips, my second "exclusive" worked art glass. I made this glow vs. dichro art glass segment using the green/yellow glow (what you see in between the glow is a color called steel wool) and the dichro color will reflect pink/purple, green/turquoise and also a few other colors here and there. It came out awesome! and I look forward to making you all some great art with this glass :D

I just received mail yesterday from Bert and Beata containing tools I shipped to myself and also! a bunch of new colors we picked together. In the coming days I'll be making it into more exclusive art glass segments for Trippy Tips......excited!!!!!!!!

Okay -- tell me what I did wrong. I punched two holes in my carto, loaded it and the joose into my phiniac, proceeded to vape a minute and then got nothing. The whole thingie you screw your carto into was flooded with joose. Did I poke the carto holes too deep? Then I found the carto would not unscrew and had to pull the tank off to get it to unscrew. Puzzled and not wanting to repeat this.....

When it gets stuck try pushing down on carto and turning at the same time.

Some cartos seem to leak no matter what you do. Some leak if the hole is too big, or there are too many holes. They will leak if you punch the hole through the tube on the inside of the carto(too deep). They will leak if the tank o-rings are not seated and when you are filling the tank.

As for being screwed in too tight, that's pretty much par for the course
