Main - I keep telling my folks if we liquidate our stuff up here, we can move to SD (my mom likes it there).
My dad is not convinced.

take him on a "vacation" to SD. he probably won't want to leave... that's how I got stuck here...

Wow quite a few from that area. I am from Oceanside/ carlsbad/ Vista among others. LOL Moved around that area a bit. My sister is in San Diego. She was just here last week and drove here all the way from SD and all the way back.

Yea I REALLY miss it. Trying to convince my MD born Hubby to move there. I think if I could get him to visit there once he would be convinced. He's only been to Ocean City in MD which doesn't even compare. I lived right on N. Pacific Hwy and could walk right on onto the beach. I would sooooo love to move back. Bill, I used to go to a "Black Angus" right by there, maybe it was San Marcos? Anyway, that was our nightly routine, Black Angus for drinks and dancing, Dennys right across the parking lot for B-fast when it closed. LOL

Main - the big thing at our house was Sunday night, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, then Disney!!!

Oh, and the original Mickey Mouse Club. I used to know all the days of the week, Spin and Marty, Talent Round-up Day, all of that stuff. (I hated Annette... )

it's crazy looking back to that stuff these days, we had the Rabbit ears and only got channels 3-6-10,17-29-48, and 12 and 23 came in but not to good

I only went there one time to get my USMC and Bulldog tat and every other weekend we went to mexico ( TJ ) all through ITR and SF training.
