Sedge - does the DNA do both VV and VW? And I am not sure of the ranges for both .... the Lexi I know will go to like 15 watts, and the DNA can do 12? Or 2 can do 24 watts? Something like that?

The Lexi has a nivel chip in it, it is the only chip of its kind, not a DNA but a nivel chip, the creator is Russian and thats where they also come from. Mamu is not selling these or making them for the public from what I know, she made a few of them and that's it. The Nivel chip however will be coming soon and modders will be making mods with this nivel chip,,, it is the only chip that allows you to both regulate the voltage AND the Wattage, among some other features

No, the DNA only allows you to adjust the Watts, then it self regulates the voltage, the nivel chip allows you to adjust BOTH Watts and Voltage
Matthew - that what I thought ... I like VW more than VV, but variable anything is better than "set".
yup, same here, my Darwins are the best electronics I have and make Atty's and Carto's jump like no other mod, especially my Genesis units man are they great on Darwins. I dont even like mechanical Mods any longer, if they dont have good electronics in the Mod I dont even want to use them any longer Blue, PWM is good too, I keep my 2 Reo Grands as back up but wont buy any other PV's without great electronics in them, call me spoiled but they just provide a better vaping experience for me, these regulated mods with great electronics in them compared to all mechanical is a huge difference. The DNA, Evolve products, and this Nivel are the leaders for sure, with Provari and Buzz electronics next,,,,, loving my VV Reo Grand too which has Buzz's electronics in it

I got that but what's the benefit of regulating volts when watts are regulated?
I'm with both of you. I gotta have electronics and I am seeing a huge difference in how my Kicked mods are outperforming the Provari.
Sedge - I can get the same "feel" on my ProVaris as with VW/Kicks .... I just use Ohms Law to figure what volts get me to 8.5 watts, after the ProVari tells me the ohms. That is the neatest goodie on the ProV .... it's nice to be able to see how your carto/atty/coil is maturing.

I burn and quench in ice water as it seems to make my wicks nice and stiff .... never tried the paper thing as wrapping a coil wasn't a problem for me.
I keep my wicks thin (not diameter wise, but layers rolled wise), nice open center .... a big paper-clip is your friend, and use the paper clip when I wrap to keep the wick open and straight.
I fill my tanks down the center of the wick also to make sure they don't get crimped, and it cuts down on the mess. Juice can seep out your wick hole if you fill using the fill hole.
