My sister n law is korean. When my brother passed this last oct. she decided after the korean new year to go back to korea to help her mom who's health is failing. She tought me prepare several dishes. Bulgoki being one of my favs. I love love love chop chey.

Willow, please give us your bulgoki recipe.

The best Korean food I have ever had was in South Dakota where I went to undergraduate. There was a army major tank commander from Vermillion who went to Korea and met a wonderful lady there who he married. They moved back to So. Dak. and started a Korean restaurant in this tiny little town. It did extremely well. Best bulgoki I have ever had. Best kimchi, and where I had the scallion pancakes.

I am not a Tofu fan, I keep trying to like it, I think it is a texture thing for me. I don't like custards, but I do like Creme Brûlée. I will eat the noodles Sedge is talking about.

Hmm, I love custard, maybe that's why I like tofu? My first husband was vegan, I will pretty much eat anything vegetarian or no, as long as it's yummy.

Mmmm, I'll have to jot it down. I usually make it up now as I go from taste. Part of it is to marinate the thinly sliced beef. The longer the better. I'll pm it to you tomorrow, remind me, as I have short term memory, lol.

I think I'm heading to bed early, started getting a headache at work. Just took some advil and am needing to lay down.

My Ody is working great. Followed Scott, but it was suggested by a few to try Mr Krinkle. Its just a short piece along top and nothing down the channels I guess.

The vapor production of the Ody is crazy, it made me cough several times last night. But I really don't like the metal tip, it's sharp and well you know I don't like a metal taste with my vape...

I've enjoyed the regulars but the spitting problem is somewhat frequent and the burn taste is worse than any I've ever had if you don't squonk in time (so bad it hurts the throat for a day or two). I suppose a donut could help with spitting though.

Woohoo! So I finally got a raise here at work.. It's not much, but it did add 20% (20% of nothing is still..) and when I'm all situated in my new building I should get anther raise. Thank god. Been drowning lately

Cyclin, I was born and raised in Hawaii and to be honest, I prefer it here. On a sunny day like today you can't beat how beautiful it is. Trees, water...what's not to like?
