Take your meter and hold a piece of 32Awg in between your thumb and forefinger in each hand with a lead from your meter touching each end of about 1 inch of each 32Awg and do it again with 34Awg and look at the difference in ohms between the two wires when you test each inch of each wire, you will see how big of a difference there is. And when you braid the 34Awg it makes for a monster coil. 32Awg will also work too of course but may be to low, 34Awg Braided with 5 coil wraps is netting me 1.5ohms

Sounds like fun, but why braid at all? For the ohm drop or more surface area?

Since I use vv/vw exclusively, I was thinking of wrapping something along the lines of 2 ohm coil

Cyclin, definitely give the braided/twisted coil a try, it really does work well. Usually with my Ody I'm either Kicking it with a 2-3 ohm coil or running it with a 6v setup, but I occasionally do the twisted coil at 0.8-1.0 ohms for 3.7v and it's nice Not my ideal vape, but still nice
