totally looks like a cosmic ocean donut :D

ooh, I like that! Let's roll with it. Expect to see more Cosmic Ocean pieces in the future for sure, what a neat color scheme. The background color is a very saturated dark and transparent purple.

I just told my husband I may be expanding from trippy tip collecting to marbles as well...there is some yummy glass goodness out there!

I love marbles too. The whole body of a marble is essentially a perfect lens if it is clear so the optics of a marble are especially fantastic to look at.

Ok well i better try to get some sleep so i leave you all with these 2 Bob Ross quotes :D

"Shwooop. Hehe. You have to make those little noises, or it just doesn't work"

"The secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do strong enough, you can do. Anything. As long as you believe"

I think the postal service hates me...

got my trippy... but it has a crack. can't feel it on the outside, but you can sure see it. Now to see if I can get it to show up in pictures....

I am so sorry that must have been a bad feeling. I bet it can be fixed.

Well that bites!!!

I got my Hoosier tip today..........it is awesome!!! I will try to get some pics this weekend.

I got mine yesterday too as soon as the sun comes out I will get pictures.

I keep adding that fire vs glow dichro pillar to my cart then chickening out and closing the site. Lol. I bought 4 trippys this week. I gotta slow it down!

Hell I can't buy ANYTHING now because of all the Trippy Tips I have been buying. My cc is in the freezer now.

I am surprised no one has snagged this one from COV ....

I want it can't buy it.

Afternoon Tipsters, Just caught up on the goss, Happy Birthday Mrs Wharfie.
Got pulled over by the Police on the way home from work today.
He thought I was smoking pot in the car.
I had to explain to him what a Provari was and assure him it wasn't what he thought.
It was really funny.

I would be such a nervous wreck just being pulled over they would tow my car and throw me in jail. I try to be careful when I do vape in the car.

Introducing a new color scheme, "Colorado Sunset" Bob Ross would approve I think.

Perfect color Bert.

Yep, I use 32g kanthal, I had some nicrom(sp) and it seemed that the coil burned/broke more often.

Awesome! I've used Bob Ross techniques on several oil paintings that I've done. I only have photo's of them cause I lost them to a house fire in 91' but I love his technique.

House fires are the very worst. Sorry that had to happen to you.

I'm going to derail your thread Bert one more time to say that we have hit the $5000 mark with Jennifer's fund raiser. Woo hoo! Partly thanks to you Bert and all you Trippy Tippers that have donated to this cause. Thank very much. Carry on. :)

That is great hope all of the money can be raised.

WOW just WOW!!!

Good Morning to all in Trippy Nation.

I hope you guys forgive me, but I just thought of something else to add about beauty... Yes, old topic already, and I hope I don't bore you to death, especially being new to the "neighborhood", but here goes:

What if Beauty is a fundamental Mystery in philosophical/spiritual sense? Something fundamental can't be defined in terms of anything else, so we can't really completely describe it in words, rather all other things are described in terms of fundamentals, ultimately... If this is so, than Beauty cannot be described or defined, only experienced - the definition of a mystical approach.

And what if Beauty only exists in a relationship, much like Love? Can Beauty stand on it's own? Isn't it always a beauty "of"? And doesn't it need an observer to comprehend it, to experience it, in order to exist at all? Is something innately, objectively beautiful, or only subjectively beautiful to a particular observer? I think the latter - in which case it exists only within the relationship between the observer and the observed...

And to take it one step further: in essence, the relationship between the observer and the observed evokes Beauty, but Beauty then, in turn, evolves them both - both are changed. What is happening, in effect, is the process of co-creation.

And, then, is it not possible to think of Beauty as a fundamental creative force?

OK, now I'm straying waaaaay into normally "verbotten" territories. Again, sorry if I bored everyone to tears - like I said, this is something I've been obsessing about for a long time.
