Good Morning Trippy Nation! Today is my 2 year Vapiversary! I owe so much to many of you for helping me along this journey. Bert especially. I know he is in my town and I wish we could arrange to meet. I'm stuck at work so looking doubtful, but I did send him a text after getting his message at 2am. LOL
I miss you all.
MORNING ALL!!!!!!! Boy it's been a busy weekend for me
. I have been painting all weekend and then having grand baby, so falling asleep right after has not been a problem! I have had ECF withdraws I missed you guys! I don't think up I can even attempt to catch up, so if anything has happened please kinda give me the low down...if you don't mind. Have a sick little grand baby today. She had her last half of flu shot, and it has now has caused 103 to 104 fevers, but like I told my daughter, better a few short days of this vs flu! Let me think...oh something kinda neat happened for my parents. My father was special forces paratrooper in Vietnam. He was exposed to mustard gas ( not the neat part), but about 2 years ago the government had a program to make sure that veterans that had been exposed, were taken care of. Well, he applied and after 2 years he found out he was accepted. It's not a large check each month, but with his SS it is better. My mother was doing her checkbook, and was off by 30.00, so for the first time in I don't know how long she opened up her bank statement to try and find it. (She usually spends the same every month so she knows exactly what they have). Well to her shock there was a deposit of 30,000.00 in their account. It turns out they had paid my dad all the money from the time he had applied. So that was a nice to find out. Ok I will stop typing for a while don't know if you can tell, but really missed ya all....lolol

I had that same thing happen to me on Saturday! Then again in the same store, but the second time it wasn't in my pcoket, walked the whole store again and found it! Thank god

Afternoon Trippy Nation,
Miles to go before I sleep
Last night, I attended a memorial for one of my high school buddies that died unexpectedly last week. Aneurism at 50 and unfortunately he was alone at home when it struck. We gathered last night and some 30 plus from my gang of high school friends attended. A lot of mixed emotions experienced last night. My friend Joe had 4 brothers and all are spitting images of each other. A lot of stories were told but most came up in the bar area without the family present as I hung with a fairly nefarious crew. His brothers were all great and hung out with us friends but we didnt want to upset his extended family.
Mrs. Brew is sick so dealing with a lot of take-out and sequestration. Airborne pathogen we fear so I'm getting a lot of office time at home. Finally got all settled in my new office at work but a few projects exploded on the hardware front and they really cranked up the volume these past few days. I'll check in as time permits. Brew

Oh Brew -- so sorry to hear about your friend. It is hard losing our friends. I'm so glad you got to go to the visiting and were able to share stories with his brothers.
