Sorry guys but it's in my nature to be very defensive for my friends. Additionally, I married an Air Force Colonel's daughter, her brother is a Marine, my dad was Army and I was Navy trained. The only branches that might not get my highest level of respect would be the NOAA and the US Public Health Service even though they too are to be respected. I apologize for the remark and should stay out of what I wasn't party to but Sashwa has become one of my buddies on this list and evokes a bit of my protection mode. Sorry and I have also deleted my post. Brew

Jack is just teasing, Brew. It's okay - at least I think he is. I've been giving him a hard time in the Reo Lounge thread abut him being sick. His revenge was to send his germies to me.

How sweet you are, Brew. There is no need for you to delete either!

As far as I am concerned there is a friendly rivalry between all branches of the service. I've always teased my father who was in the Army and my brother about their branches. And I tease Blu about the Navy. To me it's all in good fun - nothing more and nothing less.

(((Hugs))) to both of you.

I trained this great kid who was a marine. He was a Fire Captain??? They would swim to shore to secure the way for a beach landing (pretty cool). He was just out and would tell me stories. I would ask him 'so when you were in the Army....' and he would say "MARINES!!!" (I liked busting his chops:))

One morning we're talking and he says "when I was in the Army..." His eyes got big and started cracking up.... I quit busting him after that :)

Sorry Damselle I'm showing my age. Back before the Internet, I worked for a technology company that was on the ARPANET and we had a smililar concept to today's forums in the form of mailing lists. So while this group is more correctly called a sub-forum or thread I sometimes slip and say list. THERE IS NO LIST except that a few of us keep lists with each other's contact information so we can exchange Trippies and that I know of your not on my list. :D Brew

I'm just worried now that there's a list.

On a totally unrelated note: how come the bottom o-rings on my TT's keep breaking? Top ones seem fine but I've had to steal 3 o-rings off of tips I'm not using in the last couple of days to replace them.

I have a bunch of extra rings for other tips but they appear to be too big for the TT's. Too bad Bert is home already otherwise I'd drive down and burglarize his house.

(Instead of a steak I'd have to bring an entire steer to keep his giant dog occupied.)
Jack
It's cuz your too damn hard on them I've been using Trippys for about a year and only had to replace a couple do to my Cinnabomb swelling them. All I do is lick the orings some put a little juice on them then carefully twist the tip while pushing it on easy peasy:p

sperm germs.....

Your a naughty girl:D:p

It's all good Brew, Jack is just a smart ... like me (hence the reason we hit it off) and we just love given Sashie crap cuz she likes to give it back lmao:D
