No pain meds here, I didn't even ask. I either have a strangely high tolerance for pain meds or everything I've ever been given in the past just doesn't work for me  I have a bunch of generic percocet and some vicodin here, but it's never worked so it just sits in the cabinet, there have been a few times of desperation where I've tried them again, like when I had my tonsils out, but even taken along with desperate prayers for pain relief they still don't work lol. I know it will be a little better by morning and completely ignore-able by tomorrow evening :)

Oh the puppies! LOL I'd be thrilled with 5 hours! I get 3hrs at a time max now, which is better than last week. Mom has taken them for a few nights, those have been wonderful lol. If I could just get them to get the potty training down everything would be so much better. Soon I hope!

That's the way my husband is with pain pills. When I take them for my back, they knock me on my ..... He doesn't think they are any more effective than Tylenol.

I made a huge mistake with my puppy. I realized that while he'd whine and make messes in his crate, if I pulled him into the bed with me, he settled down and I'd get a little more sleep. My roommate at the time said I'd regret that one day when I got into a relationship, as he'd never want to sleep outside the bed. And she got to say I told you so, as Gandalf sleeps between my husband and I, under the sheets, every night 9 years later. He would cry all night if we didn't let him. Even when my mom babysits him, she has to let him sleep with her, which she hates, lol.

My mom's dog is the same way! She always seems offended when I put her blanket at the end of the bed and she's always trying to crawl under my covers with me lol.
The pups sleep in the kitchen at night, they have a little house to sleep in and potty pads at the other end of the room... the girls will go to the pads, so they are doing well when on their own for that now. Now if they would just entertain themselves for a few hours while I sleep LOL. However, the boy will get 6 inches from the bed, pee, then go back to bed  he pretty much thinks he gets to pee where ever he is no matter how many times I take him to the pads :glare:

Some boys are like that ;)

Good Morning Trippy Nation. I am up, reluctantly, unwillingly, and yawning my head off. It seems the new games for my "3 to be adopted" is, Climb the Curtains and do a tightrope walk across the curtain rod until you fall, or come Shredding the curtains down to base. Not a serious matter as these are sheers from 1986, but I would have liked to have slept more.

My mom is picking me up at 10:30. I still need to finish packing and clean the bathroom before she gets here. I'm trying to decide if I should just stay up all night and sleep in the car, or if I should take a nap and get up in a couple hours to finish up.

I don't think I have enough to keep me busy for the next 6ish hours. I'm down to the last episode of Castle.

What to do?

Evening Tipsters, Actually had a cheese and tomato on a crumpet and some grapes tonight and felt better just having something in my stomach.
I am so grateful for everyones concern it makes the journey not so lonely. I have no family left and having a only daughter 6 months pregnant I am trying to keep her safe and away from the drama.
On a brighter note I have this coming in the mail. It's a VV Bogger Box with purple stabilized burl.Cor (4).jpgCor (2).jpg Isn't she beautiful.

I have decided I need a Dragon Trippy as my signature destroyer of Cancer.
So if the sale goes on and I am not around could someone grap one for me (one with attitude) and I will pay them and Bert could send it.
I have decided to fight with all my might and beat this hideous thing.
Well that felt much better then crying. These tablets work wonders. One minute a wreck I didn't even recongise myself and now a Fighting Dragon.I now have everyones name in the back of my journel.
Thanks for getting me through this day.

You are so sweet. I will beat it in his name as well. I can be tough when I NEED TO BE I just had a short relapse at first.
It was such a shock and I felt very alone and frightened. Can you give me your Dads name so I can put him in my journal?

You are definitely not alone, we are all here with you. :) My Dad's name was Rocky, and that would be an honor.

Morning Tripsters .... how goes it?

Traveling to my folks' tomorrow for T-day. We aren't cooking or doing much, I wasn't sure if my Mom would get confused, feel bad she can't cook, fell obligated to try, who knows, so we are just gonna sit around, and maybe order out. LOL
No cooking, no clean-up, easy-peasy ..... :toast:

Hey katann .... did you stay up all night? LOL

We used to always have a big meal, Mom cooked most of the stuff with me doing sides and relish trays, and Sis doing pies. It would be too much to do it all this year though with Mom not doing well. I am not sure if she'd even remember it's Thanksgiving, and us trying to cook everything there is just gonna be a mess.
I am happy doing Pizza Hut! LOL Mom likes them. :)
