Hi everyone. Just stopping in to say "Happy Thanksgiving". I am cooking up a storm and probably won't finish til the deserts are done in the a.m. Then a 4 hr nap and up and cooking again.
Oh Bert, this morning I picked up my reo to vape and noticed that my new 306 is broke. I will probably get it, along with the other one I pm'd ya about last month, and mail to ya next week. I'll fill out a repair order.
See ya'll Friday if'n I can drag myself outta the bed, lol.
I loved them and Daria! Oh..and home movies love home movies lol
You could probably polish the ends with that, but that adds heat stress. I can't stress enough how important this is.
1)Polish to get rid of dust/particles/micro cracks
2)Anneal to re-strengthen glass in a KILN!
There's a tube snapping demo on openlabglass.com that I made my shopmate make after he gouged his thumb out scoring and snapping a tube...which he had been doing for years...just sayin' please be careful, or better yet let me do it for you.
flame polishing, probably, annealing, no! you need a kiln.
.... so you can supply the Tripsters who wish to try this with various lengths? like 22 - 23 - 24 mm... I bought a torch...I'm not buying a kiln
i dont understand it..... not long ago i bought patti a new printer.. just a cheapy hp. it comes with ink and the ink that is being sold to replace is the same size but costs more than the printer itself. makes more sense to just go buy a new printer everytime we need ink. does this sound correct?
also whats really weird is the color is empty and the black is still like 90% full but needs both to print.

Usually the ink cartridges sold with the printer are just to get you started and only partly filled. Seems the cheapest printers up at the store always have the most expensive ink
I finally broke down a few years back and bought a NOS older discontinued printer, from before they had those chips on the carts that lock you out before they are empty and all that. The better printers that fall in this category demand a premium on ebay but you can buy knock off ink for like $1 a cart.
When I turned 18 a free Mach 3 razor kit showed up in the mail. They were more than willing to give me the handle and a few blades in hopes I would buy their expensive blades for the rest of my life. This is pretty much the same business model the printer companys use
OK Bert...I will forward the tubes to you.....your gonna' have a boat load.... so you can supply the Tripsters who wish to try this with various lengths? like 22 - 23 - 24 mm... I bought a torch...I'm not buying a kiln

Thank you for your generous offer Bert![]()

I have decide the "Dragon Warrior" is a good name for me. Lots of fire and brimstone, should knock those cells to hell and back.

Vintage,
LOTS of people have PMed, E-Mailed, and even TEXTED me about getting a dragon over to you. I had to let them all know that there is a VERY special one already in the works. I just wanted to share that there are many many people out there that care about you, and that you have a VERY fierce dragon in the works for you. Stay strong, and keep your spirits high.
~Bert
