Hubby did get some sort of pistol .... I have not seen it yet, so I don't remember what it is.

Haha...We speak as if we actually would wield a firearm to discourage boys....but the reality is ...well for me...I was as nervous as the DD's when they started dating..... and this nervous nature took longer to overcome than it did for the girls.... weird

This is a small town, and most of the boys I know from the time I tutored .... there are just a couple I wouldn't be exactly thrilled with. LOL

When our daughter started dating it was funny....my husband is 6'6 so when a boy would come to take her out my husband would talk to them, we got their phone number, checked it out and then my husband would walk them to the car....he would check and see if the boy opened the door, and then he would walk over to the boys side and whisper in his ear....if you hurt her I will know and I will hurt you
. He would then smile and told them to drive carefully

I remember coming home on my bike one day, and a boy, Bucky Bickle (swear to God), had ridden his bike up to see me but got there like an hour before me ..... he had been sitting there for an HOUR talking to my MOM! And she LIKED him, said he was "such a nice boy" ....... I had to let him go.
LOL......Bucky....Bickle.... I recall a Stephen Wright comedy video.....about a Bucky Goldstein .....my mind is wandering...I'm ill and drinking warm whisky with lemon...not a remedy....it's an anaesthesia... so deal with it
