Morning Katann. I'm having similar problems. Not going to sleep; rather staying asleep. I can't seem to manage more than about 5 hours at a stretch. I'm considering talking to my doctor about sleeping pills, that's how bad it's getting.

It's hard, too much going through my brain. I have a feeling it's going to be like this for awhile. I've been taking ambien, but I don't really feel like it's doing much. I hope you have a bit more luck. We are both adjusting to a new world right now, it's probably pretty normal to be this way, unfortunately!

Evening Tipsters, Just a update. I went to the Doctor and I am going into Hospital on Friday to have the lump removed. Depending if the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes will determine how much they take.
After the op I will be having Chemo and Raidation. So it's a long haul.
I am off to bed as I feel exhausted, I will keep in touch.

Sorry you guys are having trouble sleeping I never have a problem and rarely wake up in the middle of the night except to use the bathroom.

Maleko I think just got burned out. He came in to ecigs and bought every top of the line mods and tips in a super short time frame. But Star is usually here EVERY night I'm not sure that I've even seen her miss 1 much less than a week:( I just hope she's okay

That makes sense that he could burn out. For me, I have to have the forums, it's kind of like a person going to AA. I need the support to stay away from cigarettes, the forum keeps me honest. ;)

I do hope Star is ok as well, it's been such a rough few months for so many people it seems!

Good Morning Tripssters...

WOW that is a big one Pietro :)....thank you for sharing your intimate moment with my ORB

My opinion is DIY Glass Tubes = Bad because:

1) The glass will be unpolished which means that there will be micro-cracks that can cause shattering and further cracking which could lead to glass in the lungs.
2) The glass will not be annealed so it will be susceptible to thermal shock
3) Quartz is overpriced and unnecessary for this purpose. It is also more brittle than borosilicate which could lead to cracking/chipping with normal use and thus glass in the lungs.
4) Cutting glass is hazardous. I can't tell you how many times I have gouged my thumbs and I have even seen people (yes, more than one) pass out from loss of blood after doing the same with the score/cut method. I have also seen a few people go to the hospital for stitches. It takes practice, and why do it yourself when I am here offering to do it for you?

Pyrex is a brand name of borosilicate glass. I currently have a borosilicate teapot, which I use on the stove without problems. Chemists all over the world use borosilicate glass for boiling water and other chemicals. It should be able to withstand the heat.

Kami has ordered and will be sending me a whole bunch of borosilicate glass for this wick application. I will be cutting it all, polishing it all, and annealing it all free of charge for her. There will be WAY more glass here than any one person could use, so I assume she wants to share...Kami?

If that's the case I will be sending them out "Buddy Tip Style" for free on TrippyTips.com after sending Kami back however much she wants. I think this is a really cool project. In fact, this project is what caused me to join ECF way back when, and I am still willing to contribute my effort/skill to it, but I want to see it done right.
Yeppers....that is the plan Bert :) .... I ordered 25.....4 foot......3mm pyrex tubes.....it was the minimum order
We shall require somewhere around 22mm - 24mm lengths......
100 feet = 30,480mm.......figure 30mm per piece...with waste and stuff
over 1000 pieces
so I guess I can spare a little....

Well, I just ordered the last Vamo from Vapor Alley, lol. I"m planning on giving it to Tara for Christmas. As far as the Kindle fire goes, I'm going to talk to Skeeter (yes, my brother-in-law's called Skeeter; I just might be a redneck :D) to see if he wants to give it to her rather than me.

Here's one that we made in NC while I was out there...

I was lucky enough to get to see this one in person, and the depth in it is incredible. Each angle you look at inside seems to go on forever, way past the actual space of the marble itself. Even this pic doesn't do it justice!

excellent! and do not forget about the latest research! where treatment is started within 60 days of diagnosis - no matter the class or spread of cancer - results show the best survival rates. hugs and prayers
