Yep, that's the way my b-in-law explained it over the holidays. He's an electrician, lol. When I mentioned how leery lots of folk on the forums are about stacking batteries, he got this confused look on his face and said one word: flashlight!
I thought this mod was running them in parallel, then I looked again at the second pic and they are turned in opposite directions. That's when I realized they're effectively stacked.
I've always loved the Altoids can mods, but they're all over the place. This is first I've seen of a Penguin can. I'm already planning my custom Trippy for it (black, white and orange of course).

Firing this is gonna be strange though. The button's at the opposite end from the connection. It's like using a mechanical mod I think. Not that I would know, never having used one, lol.

Reidus I know what ya mean, with the switch at the bottom. Picture it like holding a lighter, where you prop the bottom on your pinky. Thats how I hold/fire my bottom-switch APV's and it's pretty comfortable. You get used to it real quick.

Actually since there batteries have their own separate spots and contacts (meaning they are not touching each other and use wire to pass current) They could have wired them either in series or parallel just depending on how they wire the contacts. In this case they are in series it looks like, cool mod man! I love the penguin tin!
