Good Morning Trippyville,

Just too busy to think about everything that needs to be done. I'm not quite sure how our life so quickly spun out of control but between traveling, my job, MyFitnessPal, working out and lawn care/vehicle maintenance, there's hardly time for anything else. I have to admit that going to the gym 6 days a week probably isn't helping the schedule but I refuse to let this go yet. When I break through 200 lbs then I might shift down a bit but for now it's 2-3lbs a week and whatever I need to do to maintain that rate. I really want to be 50lbs down before the Holidays and 1 year is up. Then I can start to relax a bit and just watch my intake.

However, I went hog wild while down in Florida and consumed all of the fish and crustaceans I could get my hands on. Shrimp, Rock Shrimp, Bahamian Lobster with a little Mahi-Mahi, Tuna and Grouper mixed in for good measure!! We also drank the Captain into submission on more than 1 night so I'd say a properly worked vacation.

So is everyone seeing more news coverage on e-cigs of late? The local NBC affiliate has run 3 of a total 6 segments on e-cigs including a visit to the Indy Vapor shop. The also interviewed our representative from the American Lung Association and I was shocked that it was mostly a balanced interview. For the first time, I believe I heard them say that this maybe the best alternative to date even though they had reservations about long-term use. Not getting my hopes up too high as the FDA still seems to be on the warpath.

Well I'm beaming my best wishes for a good Monday and a great week. :toast: Brew

HI Brew - nice to see you :D

Seems like you and I took a vay kay (from dieting) at the same time  My vay kay took me back some too  For me it is super challenging to maintain my enthusiasm for dieting after 6 weeks
I think the vay kay was a wonderful way to recharge the momentum and get back to it ;) And you sir are an inspiration!

WoW Amber! Looking good! :toast: How long does it take to make from start to finish?

They vary. The wig wags take about 45 min to do it right. The green and orange dot implosions take about 30 min to do. Of coarse that's assuming I get it all right and don't have to start over! Lol! Took me about 6 tries to get the wig wag.

So I invited the guy thats been teaching me to blow glass to come over with his girl and my husband freaked out. We've been working with him for two months and I think theyre both pretty cool people. Very nice, considerate, always punctual, seem like good people. The girl recently went on a trip with the red cross to help people in a disaster area, and the glassblower has been doing auctions and stuff trying to raise money for a friend who lost custody of his daughter. He moved to Oklahoma because he wanted to be near his daughter and it very active in her life. Seems like things good people would do. But my husband is convinced that we dont know them well enough to allow them into our shop and that they might rip us off. I like to think people are generally honest and its not like its just some random person off the street. Don't get me wrong, they wont be unattended in my home or shop. But my husband is stuck on the idea that they could "case us" and come back.

Is he being paranoid? Or am I being naive? Be honest, if you think Im being naive. It wont hurt my feelings. I know sometimes I can be too trusting...
he is being a little paranoid my wife is the same way

Amber I was gonna say check harbor freight LOL That's where my camera is from and it's been running great, outside, for years without a problem. I don't have mine on a dvr though, just a monitor. That set up is way cooler than mine lol

As for the people and letting them into your home, your personal experience and gut feeling about them is what to follow. Hubby is a little paranoid. It's ok to be a little paranoid, but you can't live a life with other people in it if you can't extend a little trust once in a while. Take the precautions of marking tools, securing the shop, and putting up cameras just in case anything happens, be it with these people or some random break in, and enjoy having people over.
yeah what she said:)
A little eye candy for your morning! All made last night. I think I was on a roll. :)

Good morning Tripsters.

(((Hugs))) and sympathy kat about your grandma.

Amber, you are sure getting good at blowing. :D

willow, that trippy is awesome!
Thanks Sashwa, it is isn't it. Bert did an awesome job on his new style. These tips are beautiful for sure.

Kat, my sympathy and prayers go out to you, your mom and family during this time. Grandma's are special to each of us. My mom's mom was 97 when she passed, she lead an awesome life and had 12 kids. Can you imagine 12! anyhoo, she was a special person. My dad's mom was 93 and only had 2 kids but she was even more special to me cause I lived with her during my high school years after my mom and dad divorced. Grandparents are such an anchor for the kids in the family. I know mine will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always try to be as good as they were. Cherish those memories forever and remember she's looking down at you and smiling when you do those special things that only you and she did together.

I actually don't play, well I played bass for a tiny bit. These were left here when my ex who was also my friend, was living with me for a bit, dissappeared/ran away/became some crazy mountain man/or whatever he did about 6 years ago. No one has heard from him in years, I don't even know if he's still alive :( But I'm clearing stuff out of my spare room and storage unit, including his stuff, to pay some med bills.
They are an ibanez - 12 string acoustic model v7012-nt-27-01 that he bought right before he left and a bc rich bronze series Warlock 24303465 that I bought for him in the early 2000's

Those are pretty nice you should be able to fetch a good price for them :) I actually wanted that exact Warlock back when I was like a freshman in highschool :) Don't play anymore tho.

Good morning my merry tripsters! Hope all is well. Amber I agree with Bert 100% nowadays it's the only way to protect yourself. Reid I'm so sorry your having issues with you P.O I know the feeling. They got me so mad one time I went straight to the post master of my area to have things fixed. You should consider the the same.

Ok and here is the mystery tip I hope my stupid iPad 1 doesn't get updates anymore to function properly. I hate apple! Will never buy another one of there products again!

Grrr won't let me attach pic one min folks

well, final decision on the ce8's. I've been using the LR one since Sat and overall its not bad. Is it as good as my bliss or ihy or 306 atty? Absolutely not. However, its more convenient. No dripping, no leaks, no worry about it always having to be stood upright. The vapor and TH are about the same as my rbas, the only thing about it is the flavor. Its weaker tasting and maybe Im crazy but I think I can taste the silica wick inside of the mesh (people who like silica wicks wont be bothered by this). I am going to get the 510 drip tip adapter and some replacement heads because its a great back up and I like it in the shop where Im always knocking stuff over.

While I was on my way back from the mountains last weekend, we stopped at a hugh indoor flea market and there was like 4-5 ecig vendors. One had a big halo sign up, another Knox vapor (I think) was just starting out. Of course I had to stop or walk slowly by each just to hear what they were telling people. A couple I was impressed with and there was a couple that I thought "Oh, don't be telling people that! cause it isn't exactly true". I hate when they try to sell the ciggy look alikes and tell them you'll get this many puffs etc etc.....cause I know how long those batts last and I also know how long a cart last. I believe they should at least say ymmv to peeps.

I just tell people it's my APV then explain when they say "huh?"
