Evening Tripsters ... how goes it?

Spent the day putting a new dishwasher in my folks' place. My Dad is too old to be doing dishes.
Turned out to be easier than I thought once I got the old one out.

Went to my Mom's house for the weekend and ended up in bed the whole time with some sort of summer cold/sore throat. Was able to get some better pics of my new Trippies:








Reidus, seeing wee Sophie in Gandalf's bed made my heart happy. I think the dogs really like that bed since it's got the high walls to make them feel safe. I had just opened a sympathy card from my Gandalf's old vet from where we used to live and was crying my eyes out and then saw little Sophie and it really made me happy. I figured she might not be able to use the sweaters, but you never know if you go on a mountain vacation in the winter time!

Got my new kiln set up last night. Just need to make a couple of more small adjustments to the shop and Ill feel a little more comfortable working long hours in there. The room Im working in is carpeted, so I need to come up with a way to cover the floor and protect it from burns, and I need to come up with some sort of panel I can use to direct airflow around my bench. Think Im just going to set up a room divider using ply wood for that, but anyone got any thoughts on the floor thing?

Use Hardie Backer for your floors. You can get it at home depot or Lowe's for pretty cheap. It's fireproof and durable! You can screw it down and use foil tape on the cracks between sheets. That's how Freddy's shop is.

And you can walk on it without breaking it? Theres going to be a small amount of give I think because there will be carpet under it.

I've never sent a Trippy out for repair but I think they go to Freddy (?) - Shoot Bert a PM - I'm sure he'll get back to you as soon as he returns from Jack's memorial.
