Well, my demo went fine. I talked to a lot of people and it drew quite the crowd. I didnt make any direct sales for the night, but the shop owner cleared my case on whole sale, so I didnt come home with any glass. Always a good feeling when you realize you have nothing to sell. Means its time to get back to work! Bert finally sent me some rain here, so its cool out. Im thinking its a perfect shop day. To everyone going to vapefest, safe travels and have fun! And Fudgey, I can't believe you sold that artists choice tip!

I'd also be certain to be available for your arrival. I'm more of a night-owl anyway. I'll bet the Peppermill will still be open so we could get breakfast while you have a decent dinner. Peppermill was still open late-night right beside the Riviera when we were there 2 years ago in November. I made the mistake of ordering their stack of pancakes(with sliced bananas) and they brought out (3) 14" diameter cakes with 6 sliced bananas and totally ruined what was supposed to be a tasty light breakfast with these way under-done pancakes. Like you could ever get a pancake that big done properly. Oh well the steak and eggs rocks and I will not be religiously tracking calories while in Vegas. Cause ya know what you eat in Vegas stays in Vegas. No take home calories ...;-) Brew

Bert - that is too bad Beata won't make it. I was looking forward to meeting her finally.
I can make 7pm at the restaurant, then we can decide from there if it's cool, go somewhere else, whatever.
We mainly just need some place to meet.

Good Afternoon Trippyville,
Definitely getting amped up for all the pre-departure stuff we need to get resolved before the trip. I'm not going to relax until we get settled in our hotel room. Then it's time to party!!

I am so looking forward to the gathering and my first official vape-oriented convention/fest. Will be interesting to see what the Vapefest folks have got planned to amuse the visitors. Ought to be a good time.

The wife and I will be up for most anything and were staying over an extra day to catch a show or two. I also want to visit the Pink Spot Vapors store as I have a few liquids I want to try and perhaps order in-person. I'm hoping they can handle a walk-in with a requirement of shipment back to Indy. I'm not going to try to get a few hundred milliliters through airport security.

I thought I'd check the thread again tonight and start PMing our cell phone #s. Brew

I played a roadie twice a year for 10 years doing video-oriented trade shows at the Las Vegas convention center. Went in at 5pm and worked til about 12am-2am. Always stayed at the "Rivi" and went to the Peppermill on my way back to the room. I usually ate steak and eggs with a blueberry muffin the size of your head on the side. Then a couple of cocktails and off to play slots into the wee hours. I used to keep track and was somewhere around $2400 up on the whole over those 10 years. Back then the NAB show drew about 85,000 attendees and the slot machines paid 93% or better. During those trade show events those machines would be hot with the traffic playing through. Man were the 90s fun in Vegas. I've only been back 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years but it's just not the same. Thankfully the Peppermill is still goin'. The bar in the back may be a bit much for Blu but I'm sure they'll serve us in the main dining room. Never drank except in the back but then I was there to drink not really watch!! Brew

Is everyone else getting high 90s for Vegas weather forecast?
That's 30-40 degrees higher than here.

And about 20 degrees cooler than here

Brew - I can go where ever, as long as there is no strippin', anything like that! LOL
Any bar has coffee, and I could always get a Virgin Bloody Mary, soda, or something if they really want me to order other than coffee.

Where is the Peppermill? Only one I know is on State-line up by Utah. Used to stop there for breakfast on the way out of town to my folks' place. (usually won a bit there also. )
