i was able to catch the last part of the show. nicely done, bert!

are all of the tips in the mini sale up for the night already? :D

Yes, i thought i would have more posted too, but i guess that means there are more to post and select from in the sale!

I have some very exciting news for my Trippy family.
My Doctor rang me today down the Coast to inform me I am finally CANCER FREE.
I had a very lengthy scan done to see if there were any cells left or grown since I was operated on. I was so nervous about the outcome.
Thanks to everyone on Trippyville giving me constant support I am sure you are part of the reason the result was so good.
Saying thank you really doesn't convey how I feel about each and everyone of you.
I still have treatment to finish and tablets I need to take for 5 years but I feel very blessed to have come through this illness so far.
Thank you everyone Trippyville & Bert.

This kind of comment is why I love the Trippy community so much.

I've not been able to pop on much of late with the new job and trying to spend time with my husband when we have conflicting schedules, but I dropped in tonight and saw this.

We just passed the one year marking of my Dad's passing. When that happened, we had just moved to a new town where I had absolutely no support system in place. Coming to this thread, venting, and having so many people offer kindness and support really helped me get through that time. I know it sounds sappy, but I really don't know what I would have done without this virtual community to lean upon.

Tonight is the first night I have logged on since the anniversary date and I see Bert's kind and wise words and then I read the most amazing thing - that our DW is cancer free. And I'm filled with unbelievable happiness. DW, you said you were going to win this fight for people like my Dad and you did it. My heart feels like it's going to burst.

And while I may not have time to do more than pop my head in every couple weeks for a while, I just wanted to let you guys know how much I appreciate you all.

And yes, my beautiful Trippy Tips, too! :D

((Kath)) great to see you when you do pop in!

Good night everyone!

I had guests for dinner and held it until it was over. I had DH's support on that though, he was right over my shoulder watching. One person was late and the other said he didn't mind and thought Bert's making a tip was awesome :D

I thought I read that they were available to play for 24 hours, but I have no idea where? Perhaps Bert can get a copy of it on youtube or something?

i think bert mentioned it would be on towerofvape's youtube channel. i didn't see it up there yet, though: TowerOf Vape - YouTube

Good morning. Today is my birthday. That being said, this is going to be an emotionally deep and heavy month for many, and you can see it already from some of the recent posts. I don't mind the emotionally deep part...I'm not one of those fluffy Librans, but I do mind the heavy. Things have been so heavy for so long know that I'm realizing I've forgotten how to have fun.

Gonna have to figure that out.

Even though I know most of you only on the internet, I've come to think of you as my friends. I really appreciate your kindness shown to me and others in times of need. And for creating this place where we can share our passion for the Trippy Teams artwork!

I was at my sisters for dinner. She has no computer at the moment (she broke it) and she took FOREVER to make dinner so I couldn't even steal hers to watch the show. She said she'd have dinner ready when I got off work... she hadn't even started it when I got there. 3 hours later she had it done. Seriously? It was tacos.. that takes me like 30 minutes max to make tacos beans & rice. I told her she'd make a horrible housewife lol. It took forever to get out of there.

De, that's so funny. This sounds like my sister. When we were growing up, I got us up and ready for school, made sure she ate breakfast, etc. when she got older, she started to try to figure this stuff out for herself. "What temp do I put the stove on to boil water?" " how do I make toast?" It didn't get too much better when she got married and had her own home. She had me over for dinner and made ham. Luckily, I caught her just as she was putting it in the oven....with the plastic netting still on it! Lol....needless to say, her husbands have done most of the cooking :p

To be announced on the Resurrection show tonight. There will be some new ones made available during the show as well as giveaways. Should be a good one to catch!

I made it to the last 20 minutes+ of your segment but I was dealing with a sick baby. She was sleeping on my right arm so any time I talked in chat it was with my left hand, using my phone as a wireless keyboard for my laptop lol. Then the Mrs started a fight (I won btw, but in marriage terms I think that means I really lost) so I had to close out of the window. Excited for the Trippy sale on SUnday! Just got paid today and I thought it wasn't til next week!

Hey Ben did you see the Vape meet at Zoe's Hawaiian BBQ on Sat ?
NOOO I did not!! Thank you so much that is so awesome!! That Hawaiian BBQ place s new too and I've heard its AMAZING. So excited to go and try out the food and the meet :)

Thanks for the tip, but where did you stumble across that meet info? I'd like to know so I can attend more in the future

========================

Morning Tripsters! How goes it?

In unrelated news, a heavily accented Greek invited me to attend his underground casino this week. I feel cool.

Ive recently made a big decision, and I havent told anyone yet, so who better to bounce this off of than the tripsters?! I have decided that life is too short to hate your job no matter how much they pay you, so Im going to be quitting my job and taking a full time apprenticeship in a tattoo shop as soon as I can find one. (between me and you fudgey! my boss doesnt know yet- Ill tell them when the apprenticeship is secured) Its unpaid, so Ill have to scrape by the first year on what art I can sell and maybe working part time in a print shop or something. The ultimate goal is that eventually i survive doing nothing but tattoos and other art, glass, painting etc. It's scary as hell, the prospect of being so broke, but Im not happy now. I wake up in the morning and think, is this really my life? Time to get a new one I think... And I think Id be a badass tattoo artist. ;)

Amber, congratulations! I went through something similar way back when. I was working for a large accounting firm and finally said Enough! I left and went back to school for my PhD. It was tough, and there's still days when I look back and ask if it was really worth it. And my answer's still the same: Hell yeah!

Happy Birthday Damselle! My wish for you is a less heavy year with much, much fun and surprises in store!

(Ok, I may be a bit of a fluffy Libran. I am having my 9th 33rd birthday on Monday)

Amber, I think you are making a great decision. If I've learned anything over the last couple years is that we should make the most of the life we are given. Life is far to short to spend a third of it somewhere you hate! That's one of the reasons I ended up changing jobs again. I'm now working from home which now that I'm done with training means that I'll have a lot more time to spend with my family and pups, and just to devote more time to things that are of more value to me. Not having a commute has given me a lot more time and I am able to indulge in my creative side as well as having more time to give to others. It's scary, but it's a good thing!

I'm missing the sale on Sunday to go spend my birthday eve with some good friends, however, the hubster is going to try to score me a tip or two as a birthday gift. He has no idea what he's volunteered for, lol. I'll have to give him a Trippy Sale lesson before I leave town. :D
