Good Afternoon Trippy Peeps,
Well Friday has arrived and I'm going to head out early to go cut some grass. I cut it once down to 4" after we got back from Vegas but after the rainy week and weekend it's already nearly 8"-10" tall everywhere. Man over the past 5 years, the October lawn was always brown, dry and short. This year has definitely been better to the lawn but harder on the mower

. However, I am digging the blue-green lawn with all of this moisture. It's the first time in at least 10 years that most of our trees are green and just starting to change during this month. I'll bet that the fall colors will be lasting quite a while longer this year.
The next 2 weeks are when the
Covered-Bridge Festival is in full swing in Park County and it should be a bumper year. They're said to expect over 1,500,000 visitors for the 2 weeks of the event this year. So based on this number, the entire population of Indianapolis is expected to visit one of the many towns possessing their own covered-bridge.
Mrs. Brew and I are kind of spoiled as we have our own covered-bridge (
Potter's Bridge) not a mile down our road. They've renovated it and built a walking trail into Noblesville that we take from time to time to get to
Forest Park. Makes a great 8 mile walk without having to worry about car traffic. The park supports an 9-hole executive golf course, a skate-board park, the Train Museum and an Olympic-class Aquatic Center. However, I'm all about the Jungle Gym

and the Rock-Climbing walls....Look out ahead, this old man's coming
through!!

I really can't say I like an urban landscape unless it incorporates a whole lot of trees and Noblesville is "The City of Trees".
Well off to get some stuff done. I'm wishing everybody a wonderful weekend. Brew
