Thanks Sooner, the shorty carto is about 7/8" so it is just a tad shorter so that doesn't work. but I appreciate the offer.

In order to fabricate Bert's Trippy Tips, I had to devote a tremendous amount of research. I had to "see" my dialog with glass in such a minimal perspective, that it was humbling to see failure in my control skills at first. I now hold such a deep degree of respect for Bert's capabilities and skill in creating an item that is so challenging for someone like me. I have studied, researched, taught and learned glass lampworking and cold working for close to 15 years now (since 1997) My best teacher (Matt Eschuke) taught me the right technique, the value of control and importance they carry. He taught me that if you can create your dialog with glass in the smaller of forms=to the largest of form you have mastered technique and form. So, here they are. My microcosms of glass, my little paintings, my dialog inspired by Bert. I am honored to be creating the trippy tip and proud to say I have learned the most valuable lesson of my career doing so. So, thank you tripsters ...you have made me a better artist.

Glad you got your status worked out Freddy!!
I just have to say that you do an excellent job with the tips. One I have that was made by you is one of my absolute favorites. It's beautiful, has a perfect feel, and has become my primary Trippy Tip. I still love my Bert tips and my Matt tip, but I use the one you made most often.

Glad you are back Freddy! I am all messy and tied up doing a re-buildable atty .... all the juice and wire and stuff is all over. :)

Blu! Love the new mustache pic! That was very creative and hilarious! Excellent job :)
Speaking of re-buildables I was just starting to gather the things I'll need to do re-buildable CE2's for my tanks.. got me a soldering iron, solder, and some helping hands in the mail today(had to get the helpers, I can't hold anything steady lol). Now I get to go practice that while I figure out what and where from on the wick lol.

Thanks but the pic I posted was with a shorty carto.

Brutus what about gutting a carto or atty & cutting it down so it's just enough to hold the Trippy Tip? You won't have the extra atty or carto, but it would make it a lot shorter for just wearing it.
