yes it is, I am very lucky that I own two of them, the craftsmanship is like none other wooden mod I have owned and seen (and that is all of them).
It is actually not a mod, it is a piece of Art, like Bert's trippies!

is the grips one a wood mod with the one side fit for your fingers?

Do remember
that it is a great compliment when others strive to match their competition, imitation is a form of flattery.[/QUOTE

I honestly do not oppose nor feel violated by being copied, it is a form of flatery. I did however had someone once replicate a signature pendant, stamp it with their name and then market it. I completely stoped making it. One of my favorite pieces, I just quit. When you, as an artist choose to not only fabricate, but conceive, express and expand on a dialog, you become emotionally related to your experience. It's just courtesy to honor the origin of a design, to represent your personal expression and feed on your very own emotional relationship. That said, introducing other artist to this dialog for me is serious, for I'm responsible to adhere to certain codes of ethic and not subject my own lampworking peers to violations of their own intellectual property. So, if I'm to continue relating my peers to the art glass drip tips, boundaries must be set and a standard of quality, respect and individual creative expression must be met. It's the only way to keep your own.investments into trippy tips valuable throughout.

I completely agree with your statement. Yet I find it very sad that you stopped making a signature piece due to some ...... that ripped your design off. You should never give someone the upper hand nor the ability to have control over what you do and do not design. I love everything I have seen of yours and will continue to surf the interwebz looking for your work.

No aloe vera Willow, but my neighbor gave me some foamy cut cleaner and I have it bandaged now.

Oh, it hurt all right. Pride be damned. I couldn't even move for a minute, just sat in the driveway and cried. Any other time 4011 people would have seen me fall, but today when I needed help, not a one lol. I finally managed to wiggle around and get up without letting either knee touch the pavement. No easy feat, that! DH was watching UK whip Baylor so I drove myself to Walgreen's for some bandages. Then I got home only to find this tiny little print on the box, "Tape not included", so I threw a hissy fit. Now I feel better lol and will feel even better after a stiff one!

So sorry to read this Sun. Are you ok? I hope all is fine.
Between You, Blu and Vintage we have the need for nurses and doctors-LOL. I do hope all our damaged women get their bandages removed and healing nicely.

How you doing today Blu?
I had a nice relaxing day at home and a late afternoon walk on the beach. The beach has been filling up with spring breakers having fun and families enjoying one another. I like to see others having fun spending time together, warms my heart that all is not lost.
