finally, what welcome trippymail! I was so sad with the delayed holiday mail & having to wait a couple of days (is it the postman? <skitters to window> <sigh> no...), but what an awesome tip that arrived. . .Bert, I salute you! This is really comfy for the lips (it's one I didn't have in my little collection yet; how neat of a treat!), the blue is glorious in the sun, & the stars. . .the stars are just terrific touches. Are they millefiori? How on earth did you make them? I wish others could see from the picture but the shading on the stars add visually dimensional delight. Gosh, this & the other tips are really, really swell. Thank you very much!

Mornin Trippsters,

Got the tips in the mail that DW and I helped make when we were visiting Bert. Mine is a little small and rough around the edges but I love it as it was a wonderful experience making it. Thanks again for the opportunity Bert! We won't talk about the fact that DW's came out better than mine, in looks anyway. ;)

Have a safe and enjoyable trip Bert and B! Same to you Freddy flying out east coast way. Have a good weekend everyone.

Why of course! Here is the one I made. Small and a bit bubbly and spotty but vapes very very well!! Bert showed us how the process works and let us have at it. Luckily he stepped in before they reached the point of total destruction and brought them to life for us!

DW's is much prettier than mine but I like mine better hehe

And both together on REO's

Morning Tripsters ... how goes it?

Ratman - I think your tip looks great!! :toast:

Kat - now that I have vaped the Five Pawns Grandmaster all night, it tastes a little different.
DD smelled the vapor, and said "Maple bar!" and she is right! LOL It is a lot like a maple bar, very maple-y with a hint of banana, but just a hint. I am still not sure where the supposed peanut butter is.

Haaaaaaay!!!!! Happy 4th of July weekend everyone! Hope you are having a great time this weekend. I am in the early start of a two week quasi vacation in Florida myself :D What I mean is that I haves lots of non behind the torch work stuffs to catch up with while I am here and as I am visiting me mom=) she has chores around the house to help her out with as well. Lots of pool/beach time as well, though. A couple of really cool developments, I am going to be working on an article of my glassy self for a glass publication and of course my trippy world while be a part of that and I am beginning the development of a personal website at the same time. So, fun work ahead!

I am doing a MARBLE CONTEST!!!! right now too and wanted everyone here to have a chance to enter. I have been promoting it on FB, but I have you all in mind as well, specially since I wanted to do one here! So I have a write up about it already and I'm going to share it and pictures and videos and such...NOW!

I am reaching the 50th marble from 250 in my implosion vortex series and I am looking to refine and empower how I expose my work to you all. I am offering one of my studies as a contest prize so I can reach my desired goal. This contest will run until Thursday July 11th 2013 11:59pm PDT. I am offering this 2" dichroic backed vortex study from my series which is signed Faerron/FJF 2013 AS as the price. The winner will be picked by a random number generator and I will assign numbers to each entry as they are received. In order to enter you just need to send me a message to FaerronVortexSeries@yahoo.com. I will then add you to my mailing list so you can receive notifications of upcoming auctions on one or all of the facebook marble pages, eBay, Etsy sales or personal offerings. Any input you want to offer will be greatly appreciated but not necessary. You must provide your name and FB handle if available (not needed). Thank you all ahead for participating. May this beauty find a great home! gratefully

so far so good :crossing fingers for no leaks: :D

Man, it wasn't easy taking those caps off to put on the new tube -- I also had to abandon trying to replace the o-rings so I really have my fingers crossed that it doesn't get leaky.

I will try to replace those o-rings again -- I need some tips though

EDIT:

BLU!!!!!!! That little thingy worked like a charm!!!!! Thank you :blowing kissies:

Hugs to all :D

Howdy Tripsters!

Hope everyone is having a great day! Been working with my pup. He's a little younger than we thought, though not a baby.

We're going to try clicker training with this one. I figure if he's really a corgi/border collie mix, he's a pretty smart mix and clicker training will be very good for him. I gave up on it with Gandalf, but I'm really going to try to stick with it this time.

We are about to go play board games with friends who have been drinking since 2pm. I think we'll probably win, lol, seeing as I don't really ever drink more than a beer or two in one sitting!
