Good morning! I am happy to report that Zion has a clean bill of health. I am dying from my workout yesterday! I did a one hour total body DVD called "George St. Pierre's Rushfit" and I am planning on doing another one today. If it is working as well as it feels like it is I will have a cleaner bill of health too! I was thinking about running a small sale with some Jackie and Dave HC tips I have, and a few of my creations mixed in as well! I plan on going to a more predictable every-other-Sunday sale and seeing how it goes. This will mean less TrippyTips per sale, and more sale nights! I am hoping it will also spread out the work load a little bit for me to allow me to create new TrippyTips and get on top of repairs. What do you all think?!

Good Afternoon Trippy Peeps,
Just breezing bye and catching up. Kat my prayers go out to Nykolas and Mateo. I truly hope all the good vibes will make a difference. Things are pretty "Status Quo" for the moment. My Mom set off the alarm for the 8th time in 5 weeks so we're working with the alarm company for more creative options.

Been at a 210lb plateau for a couple of weeks so I'm eating a bit more as of Saturday and took a few days off the exercise regiment(Friday & Saturday) to try to shock my body back into burn-mode. Saw a .6lb drop this morning but the truth comes Friday. However I don't mind eating 1570 cals as a baseline (then eat 1/2 my workout calories) versus 1270 and hope this will up the loss. Still have 40lbs to go after 36 down and this was to be expected. If I don't see a change this week then I'm headed to the weight room. I really wanted to get to 190 before starting the buildup as I will likely need to eat quite a bit more than I am today even with the slight bump. Maybe I can get Bert onto MyFitnessPal.com so we can lose some lbs. and track progress together.

I'm wishing everybody a great day and hopefully we all get through another week unscathed. It's getting to be a scary world out there to say the least. Black Expo is happening right now in Indy and there have been at least 5 shootings in 6 days downtown since it started. Scarier yet is that it's a total police state downtown and yet this continues to happen. I work just 7 miles from the circle so I often scan out the 2nd floor window before heading out into the lot to drive home. We have goalrilla basketball goals in our parking lot and the kids are always outside after 5pm. Their cars are decked out with 10 of 1000's of dollars worth of wheels, tires, chrome, gold and outrageous stereo systems. I doubt that 17-20 year olds can afford this outlay with legitimate jobs so I worry that I might accidental get caught up in some kind of deal gone bad scenario. I park about 100' away from the goals since I always stay late. However, they always check me out as I walk to the car. Just mindin' my own business with head pointed forward when I leave.
Our company just hired a security company to patrol the lot but they aren't going to be a match for the AK-47s and UZIs they are catching the bangers with in Indy these days. Very very sad! Brew

Thanks for the insight and I do understand regarding minding my own but if they decide to fight over the turf/goals then I don't want to catch a stray bullet. I drive a little civic hatch to and from so nothing really interesting. Heck they're driving Acura and Lexus mid-lines so not much interest in mine I'm sure :D Brew

Oooh, more Trippy sales? Thank the gods for the new job, lol!

Speaking of which, I'm sore and more tired than I've ever been, but this is probably one of the most fulfilling jobs I've ever had. I really feel like I'm working to make people's lives better. I did get punched in the eye today by one of our residents, but I think that's a rite of passage in this field. I know I won't be able to keep up at this pace once I actually start working on my RN, but I still have a few months before my classes are going to begin since I'm waiting until Spring so we can get our finances together a bit. :)

Bert, glad to hear the Kitty is ok! Right now I'm working on teaching Jake not to be afraid of going outside. Apparently I was doing the training all wrong, so we're trying a new approach. If I can't do it myself, I'm considering hiring a trainer to come in and give me some pointers. Other than his fear of going outside, he's progressing with his other training well. Tonight we learned "high five". :)

Well, tomorrow is my only day off until sometime next week, so I think I'll do a little goofing around.
