I've been absent for far too long and wanted to stop in to tell everyone I am still alive and kicking. Pietro I'm sorry I missed your birthday and can only hope it was a great one. My wife and I have been busy with work, visitors, birthdays and computer work for one of our nieces heading out to college. Seems every minute has been just packed. I'm still working out daily but I'm on week 7 of a major plateau. I'm trying not to get discourage as I'm just 10 pounds from "One-derland" but that's still 30 pounds from my goal. I have been tracking the happenings here when possible on my phone but no rest for the wicked.
I had my first trippy casualty this past weekend and it went major Humpty Dumpty as there wasn't a piece bigger than a grain of rice to recover. An all-black donut I got from one of the retailers(COV). I was in my truck with my REO in the door arm rest. I opened the door to get out and a gust of wind grabbed the door which caused the REO to flip out on to the parking lot. It went donut down and the tip just disintegrated. I found both O-rings amidst the glass dust. I whistled taps and bid my trippy friend a fond farewell. I hope it will be my last tip to go down.
I have a few tips to list in the classies coming up but can feel the itch for a few more purchases. I'm afraid that my schedule is going to remain packed until we all head out for Vapefest. I'll try not to be such a stranger.
We're still working on getting the three-legged cat situation resolved as SHE's been coming for dinner every night over the past 2 weeks and as of yesterday she's started arriving early for lunch as well. My wife is home most days so she's not going without. We're still trying to get her to let us pet her. She'll take food from our hands but no touching except for a stroke or two to the side of her face. She's really been trying to get us to let her come into the house so we know she's not feral but we need to get her to the vet before exposing our tribe to whatever she might be carrying. I've been looking into outdoor cat shelters but am not sure if I can bring myself to be building a "Cat House" on the property. I think there are still laws against that around these parts. Not sure what we'd charge either... Catcha all later. Brew

As for outdoor cat shelters, when we had outdoor cats we bought an extra dog house and kept it up by the front porch. They had a place to get out of the weather, and extra shade in and around it during summer which we don't have much of on our property. The cats loved it and were in there all the time.

Mrs Wharf surprised me tonight, I walked in the door and the house smelled wonderful. The worst park was I had to wait 16 minutes !!! No problem, changed, jumped in the pool, watched the end of Dogma (one of my all time fav's) and it was ready.
The Jambalaya was Fuh... wait for it............................. Nominal !!!!
Mark thank you so much, this is so good I can't believe it. The flavors are complex but not overpowering. I thought I loved Jambalaya, but is was just puppy love........ THIS is real love... I love it

Evening Tripsters! God summer is so busy for me this year! My newly married nephew stop in for the last few. Lol and have cousins coming at the end of week for 2 weeks then more after that till end of August. So ill be scarce.

TJ I always would add sautéed veggies, chicken and andouille to Zatarain's and it was really good !!! M.R.'s Jambalaya is a whole 'nother animal.
