Evening Tipsters, Had a rugged weekend my right hip has given out, probably due to the Radiation I had. So lots of pain killers and off to the Doctor tomorrow. Will it ever end? Sorry to grumble.

Good morning,

Vintage, I'm so sorry to hear about your continued health struggles. Hope you can put this all behind you soon!

All I have to complain about this morning is that it's mid August and I still have no blooms on my tomatoe plant! I got an heirloom from a local organic farmer.....I don't think these were meant to be grown in New England. The new tomatoes just don't smell and taste the same as the older versions!

This is a sad state of affairs.

Vintage -- No apology allowed! I would be grumbling too if my hip were out of place. That has to hurt like the devil! I hope they can get you fixed up when you are able to get to doc. In the meantime, thank heavens for pain meds!



One more day of pre-planning (which consists of sitting through meetings) for me and then the students come back - yeah!!! I'm excited about this year because I have a good group of students. dh is excited because he may retire at the end of the year. Can't blame him for that.

Going to rush through the rest of my housework so I can spend the day by the pool!

Well, all considering my birthday wasn't too bad really! I kind of enjoyed it even. Me and the hubby got in the shop and did an awesome collabo piece, I finished up a glass project I've been sitting on, got my chores done, mom wasn't sick or crazy, my grandma and grandpa made me an awesome steak dinner, and my cousin made me cupcakes that literally taste like childhood joy. Lol thank you for all of the birthday wishes!

Good news from Downunder. The Doctors feel that I have Bursitius (no idea how to spell it) in the joint. Which means NO OPERATION.
I am so relieved, they have given me really strong pain killers which are working so now I just have to wait and heal.
