Thanks for the birthday wishes all :)
I think I'm still recovering, not from drinking as I haven't drank in ages, but from being on my feet for 3 days lol. A day shopping with mom (lots of looking and walking, little buying lol) a day with the nephew and a day doing housework. The older I get the more the arthritis sucks!

Finally got the furnace fixed today! The temps have been at or above 30 lately so it hasn't been too bad, I was starting to think I could just survive without heat till next winter lol, but then parts finally showed up and I am happy to have it running again.

Sweet Wednesday wishes to all :)

Happy Borthday De!

Delilah! Where've you been girl?

Home mostly, thanks for asking. My sleep cycle was terribly out of whack and I had a heck of a time setting it right  For months I was getting to bed later and later, which led to getting up late in the day leaving me no time to hang out here or anywhere before my housecleaning, dog walking, grocery shopping, errands, and dinner making! Finally instead of going to bed at 3 or 4 am, I figured I should break night and just keep going! I tried to stay up till the next bedtime but didn't make it past noon and it was lights out for me! I tried to just take a nap for a couple of hours but sometimes it would turn into a 4 hour nap. This went on for a few weeks till I was finally able to get to bed at 9pm! I had finally gotten on a 9p to 5am sleep schedule by the new year when my hubby began complaining that 9pm was too early  So I forced myself to stay up with him till 10p and woke up at 6a. Then I stayed up with him till 11p and got up at 7. Then on weekends he wants to stay up later and sleep later, so I went along with him again. Going to bed at midnight and getting up at 8, then going to bed at 1am and getting up at 9a. This went on for a couple of weeks and just last night I went to bed at 4a and got up at 8a today. :glare: I doubt I'll make it past 8p tonight

This time I'm going to keep my sleep schedule and hubby better not disturb it again OR ELSE!

Wow! That sounds exactly like what my sleep schedule has been for the past couple of months. I feel for you,,,there's just not enough hours in a day some times! I'm currently on nights, but will probably be up during the day by next week.

Good Morning Good Morning Trippykin :)

Happy Thursday everyone, Happy Thursday indeed. I slept from 10p last night to 8am! :D The body has its own mind - there it was trying to make up for my lack of sleep the night before!

BERT! {{{hug}}}

Yes, it sure does feel like there aren't enough hours when your sleep cycle causes you to sleep during the morning and sometimes to noon  Shoot, even when I get up it still takes me an hour to be fully awake   I thank goodness for coffee! I've learned a couple of things about my sleeping cycle... One - my body needs 7 to 8 hours of sleep! I can't stay up late and still get up in the wee hours of the morning like back in the day! ;) Two - my body resets itself to whatever was the last time I went to bed! So when I was staying up till 2, 3, and 4am, my body became used to it and wanted to repeat, repeat, repeat! I went to bed at 10 last night, my body will want to go to bed at around that time tonight

Good luck getting back to days next week - you can do it! :D :toast:

Happy Birthday De. Sleep??? It was 44 degrees today and the nights aren't much better. Last night Porsche opened the shower door with her paw and I found her asleep on the shower floor.

Hi Coralie :D - It was 46 here yesterday and it felt downright balmy after last week's teen temperatures!
Awwww, sweet Porsche -- I wonder why she did that? Is your bathroom very warm? I would think she would feel cold in there! Have a lovely evening :toast:

Sweet D it's summer down under and Coralie's temps she's reporting are in Celsius soooooo I believe Porsche was after the coolness of the tile:p

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy tipped Reo

OH!

I just did the conversion and 44 degrees Celsius equals 112 degrees Farenheit!

That heat is tough, even with air conditioning! I remember last year's heat wave with the AC on and it was still hard to feel cool!
Hang in there Coralie & Porche!
