Hello Trippyville and Happy Birthday TJLOA(aka Jim),
It's been a weird Winter for us and very much a repeat of the 1970s here in Indiana. Temperatures in the single digits every other day with wind chills in the sub-zero range. We've had 33" of snow in January already and 30-40 mph winds have made that fairly treacherous. I go by the city park every morning where there is an awesome sledding hill but haven't seen too many kids out playing. Man when we had no Internet and only 4 TV channels to choose from, you can bet your bootie we'd have been out there tearing it up until dinner time....that or playing hockey on the neighborhood pond. I for the most part have always loved Winter, cold temps and snow as it keeps me from having to mow grass

. I also love burning stuff and who is going to build a raging fire in the fireplace if it's 70°F outside. It also renders Cognac or Grand Marnier a lot less attractive for warming the body if it's already warm and comfortable. So for the most part, we're enjoying this Winter but I am looking forward to an early spring for some more lengthy excursions outside. Doing more than a couple hours outside in 5°F is just not that fun unless your really working yourself hard. I'm never going back to shoveling my drive but the snow blower isn't exactly working me out much. I am looking forward to having the windows open again and eating outside on the patio. Would be a bit brisk to do either of those things right now.
Well I hope everyone is doing well and Happy Humpty Hump. Brew
