i have a couple broken o rings... i need to get some more, also does anyone know if there is one just a tiny bit smaller? one of my tips will not fit into most 510 attys just eed to be a minute but smaller to fit in

Have you tried lubing it up with some vg based juice? Also a little twist when you go to push it in does wonders...ok bring on the out of context jokes now.

If you have an arts and crafts store nearby (like Michael's or Hobby Lobby) they sell many sizes of o-rings in their DIY jewelry section. You can even get assortments. Home Depot and Ace Hardware are also good places to look, in the plumbing section.

#47/#36/#60 and if you need smaller 004 will be hard to put on and break from time to time-but works if you can get it on. Those are the sizes I find most useful, hope this helps.

Bert knows lube and twist-the honeymoon isn't over!

ime5000,

If you take a trip to your local Home Depot they sell Danco Brand O-rings in the plumbing section hanging on the wall in a square hard plastic clear box with light blue in the background of the box, look for one around #47 or so, you can take them out to fit your Trippy Tip so take the Tip with you. They are cheap, maybe $3 for 15 or so of them and your good to go :)

Been awhile since I popped my head in here. I'm on the beta and wondered how far down the list we are now? Last I knew, Bert was continuing making tips for the beta and the other guys were making them for the GP...is that still the way its working? If so, are those pics to finish of the beta team?

Hey burt I have tried what u said. But even then it will just bulge out. I was gonna order some if I get a chance for a new one. But if they are the same size it won't work. I took one off a different tip and tried it and nose goes. We will see I have a lowes near me so ill try to check them out soon.

here's what I do to make o-rings smaller:
roll the o-ring onto a metal pen and roll it to the widest part of the pen
take a sand paper nail file and rub it back and forth across the o-ring the whole way round.
shave of a little section here and there untill it fits what you want it to fit.
Be careful, its real easy to shave off more than you need to.

I did what you mentioned above and found that it made the o-rings weak and I also found little black bits that would fray afterwards. That's when I went and purchased other o-rings until I found the ones that worked. Seemed like a great idea at first, ended up not really fixing the problem for the long haul.

Kat... You have the ones on the right, I'll take the left, lol. Am I remembering that right though, or have things changed? The beta team still exists, right? Getting a bit jealous seeing so many with tips, multiple in some cases, and beta team still waiting on them from may! :) Just curious, no egg throwing, lol.

I spent the day cutting slots for o-rings in tips, and I am about to go polish them. I am going to give the Beta Team first dibs on these tips, but everyone will have a shot at what ever isn't purchased by them in time to do your Christmas Shopping. I am waiting on a saw blade in the mail, so I will only be able to cut on Fridays until it arrives. I'll send out a Tipped Off soon with the details.
