Bill - hubby LOVES to cook, so I let him. But I make the pasta, lasagna, and sauces.

i love to cook for my gf, she can hand me a recipe and i do what i do, lol even if its somehing i wont eat myself, i love to cook it!
I wish my bf could cook! would make my life easier, but he's not very functional in the kitchen unless it involves a can of something or tv dinner and a microwave, heck I won't even let him make sandwiches anymore, it was a horrible experience lol. He can't load the dishwasher either, but at least he will clean... sometimes ya gotta poke him with a stick to get him moving, but he'll do it LOL

De - my thing is the dishwasher .... certain plates should go certain places, etc. If you can't put it in right place, leave it on the counter and I'll do it. LOL But I'm not pickey or anything ......
Same here with the dishwasher Blu, I've tried to teach him but half the time he'll put glasses in there so that they would either be falling over or slamming into each other, once he loaded the dishwasher and had a bowl directly on top of another bowl... I actually asked "Do you even understand the concept of a dishwasher?"
Wow, you women need to learn about us men. We do that stuff so you women think we are to stupid to do it. It works every time.
LMAO - don't I know it .... hubby jams tupperware in there till it's a jumble and winds up right-side-up and collects nasty water.

Scott is absolutely right. I think men live for the words, "you're doing it all wrong. Here, just let me do it myself!" I'm sure my husband & teenage son are high-fiving each other every time it happens!
Normally I would agree Scott LOL but this one is a special case. He has some memory issues, pretty much forgets about 1/2 of what goes in his head, even things he was wanting or needing to do for himself, and he can have a conversation and forget it within 10 minutes and restart the same conversation (and I've known him most of my life, he's always been this way)
De - hubby got a brain injury in the war, and he has some problems too. I tease him because if he pulls the chains on the ceiling fan, and the light doesn't come on, he pulls it harder .... he's forgotten I wired in control panels on the wall, and has broken 4 chains that way.

Blu, I am the same way. Just put the dishes in the sink please, I'll load the dishwasher.
My girls used to take dishes with them to friends houses and I am just now starting to break the habit of counting everything as I put it back in the cabinet. I can't tell you how many forks, plates and glasses I had to get them to go back and retrieve for me. A lot of the time they would say-I don't know where I left it-ugh.
