But not everyone can pay alot .... I don't think any way is "perfect" other than Bert taking orders.
I've been thinking about this, too. While it may be "fun" for some to go thru buying a T tip the way we did the last couple of nites, for others it is truly frustrating. I have a number of friends who have simply given up on Bert and getting a T tip at all. There is a lot of unrest behind the scenes, which I do understand (all too well... anyone remember the BETA TEAM?)
I think the idea of being able to place an order is a viable option, Bert. (Not the customization option that was available on the old site, but an actual order form.) lf I wanted to order say "Little Yellow Fish" or "Aquatic Swirl" for example, I could just do that. Would it be identical to the first one? Perhaps not, but I'm betting you could make it close enuf to the original that it would be awesome just the same.
I, like so many others, would like a Donut, or better yet, a Glownut, AND an io6 T tip. What are my chances when just getting even the "least popular" tip is nearly IMPOSSIBLE. Even if you did a batch of 100 Donuts, from what I've seen, it would still be very difficult to get the exact one you want.
I would like to be able to ORDER a Trippy Tip as an option in addition to the "catch it if you can" type of sales. Not everyone has that much time to spend F5-ing on one website all nite! For those that do, and enjoy the rush and the camaraderie (which is fantastic!), we can do that as well!
...need a few of Scott's or HzG's clothespins to keep my eyes open!
